Hi guys, first time here for me, first time i have written in a forum.
I am after some advise if there is anyone with the same issues i have. I am 44 and very happily married to the most wonderful woman i could ever ask for. My problem is that i have been in business since i was 18 yrs old and i have just received my first ever aneros ( toy ). I have read this forum extensively as i am so keen to explore what the human body has to offer, and the main thing that is constantly said is that you must relax. Unfortunately if i have no sound, no tv etc to distract me and just shear silence my mind just runs off 100 miles an hour and i will start to toss and turn and just get frustrated. My way of relaxing is go put a good movie on and fall into that movie and forget all the daily stresses.
Does anyone else out there have trouble to relax as i really want to experience this and do you use other methods that still have success. I have inserted the aneros twice with nothing but will never give up, i know its there and i want it...thanks

Having, "been there, done that" perhaps the following might be of help.

Too often, we members of the Forum and Chat tell newbies to relax, then relax some more and remember to breathe." Five years ago I tried that and found that after a few moments of "relaxation" my brain, in it's love for thought and problem solving, became busy with details like when my car was next due for an oil change. Or, what I might wear to tomorrow's project review. While my bran was busy solving trivial problems, I was unable to sense any growth in my Aneros driven sensations.

Welcome Google as a friend and employ it to search for Zazen Meditation. Learn to adopt your own breathing as the point of focus for your session meditation. As you become skilled in Zazen, expand your senses to include your Prostate and the smallest of it's sensations.

i find thinking of sexual scenarios in my mind always helps. Keeps you from going off task and can add to your arousal.

I think one of the huge side benefits is that it gives a very good reason to relax. It is a very good motivation, but also a challenge.

Donchich, welcome here. Another way to meditate is to just focus on body sensations, notice everything, feel everything. Find a time and place where you are comfortable, rested and feel safe. Feel what it's like to breathe relaxedly, the sensations from your body of inhaling and exhaling. If you feel pulses or contractions from your perineum area, let your attention dwell on those. If you feel even the slightest pleasure, savor it. The idea is that when you immerse yourself in your bodily sensations, it will crowd out the mind noise. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Rook, for the reference to Zazen Meditation. Maybe that's my next step after my arousal breathing. I get to a place where I'm breathing pleasure waves without trying. I could count breaths and see if I can quiet myself further.

agree with ineverknew...sometimes I catch myself doing it during the day and its difficult to reign in your thoughts....

thoughts are very POWERFUL

If I am relaxed, laying down, and start muscle contractions it will instigate some p-wavs (especially if my nipples are aroused...

just sharing my experiences here folks...

So im a little late with this but I recommend downloading some mp3's from this site: http://www.milovana.com/webteases/#author=26111 Its NSFW and free by the way. But the creator of these compilations made these specific to people with an Aneros. Good luck hope it helps!

Over the years I've had various needs for meditation and relaxation. The first time I needed to work on this was when I was battling CPPS. Later came severe anxiety and panic attacks. Now, a quiet mind and relaxation are needed for my Aneros use.

Each time I've had to make meditation and relaxation a priority, I'm surprised at how hard it is. My mind wanders. I have a zillion thoughts. That's not even counting the itches that suddenly pop up all over my body when I'm finally relaxed and trying not to move. It dares me not to scratch. It tortures me sometimes. It's worse than my bladder kicking in the moment the captain turns on the fasten seat-belt light.

I am completely impressed by what the great meditators of the world are able to accomplish. The monks, buddhists, and meditative martial arts masters are true heroes. Meditating and maintaining a quiet mind while at the same time keeping out all distraction and focusing on breathing and energy from within are advanced skills that take years to develop.

If a successful Aneros session isn't the best reason to develop meditative skills, I don't know what is!

Oh, and I think the first piece of advice any of the masters would tell you is to focus on your breathing. There you go, you are one step below master now!

@delroy, Nothing to be nervous about, Plenty of men worldwide have enjoyed anal stimulation. The following link will help with any misconceptions you might have about anal stimuilation. http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Misconceptions. This page should help you decide which device, http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Aneros_Basics. The helix or helix syn are very popular with newbies. As far as shipping, it says fast and discreet on their website so I wouldnt worry too much about that. Probably a plain brown package.

Hi delroy....ineverknew has given you great advise.

I am very new to aneros but i actually started with the maximus and have been using it for about 6 weeks now and have progressed well. I have not experienced any orgasms as yet but my rewiring is progressing. I also have the eupho syn which i have tried on 2 occasions which i find very comfortable but revert back to the maximus as i feel better to continue my re wiring with the one i started with..I have just ordered the helix syn and i am expecting this to arrive next week, and yes the packaging comes very discreet...

If i can get some feedback from experienced users....would it be best that i continue using the maximus during the re-wire process?

Thanks guys....

Yes, sticking with one Aneros during the early rewiring phase is a best practice, as it was recommended to me when I was starting out, and I think it was proven to be a good idea in my case! Early on, regular use (every other day), with regular breaks in-between, created a consistent pattern for learning in the brain and body. I was nearly an every day person when I first started, which may have been too much looking back, but I now feel that every other day might have been much better!

You guys are giving some great advise here, I am a fresh newbie as well. I have the Helix Syn, it is comfortable but i have not made it to any pleasurable feelings to speak of just yet, has only ben a week with three sessions. Very helpful to hear from the pros, I hope to be one someday and will definitely share my experiences. But for now, thanx guys for the help. I'm a 62 yo retired guy that is new to anal, looking forward to the journey. My hardest thing right now about relaxing is trying not to relax so much that I fall asleep, Any thoughts?

Falling asleep was/is common when I've not had enough rest before my session. My best sessions with the best results are after having a good nights rest! Also, because I'm usually wearing very little, if it's too cold, I don't have as good of a session than if the room is comfortable enough that I can lay on the bed without any covers. That's been my experience so far. Three sessions is a great start...and if you can have a session every other day that could be helpful. As you've read, it does take time, so be patient with yourself!
