Hi all,

I am intrigued which is probably the same with most men in the world who comes across prostate massage.
Just have a couple of questions regarding it,

Is it possible to damage my prostate from this? Infections etc.....

How about lube and the material of these devices, I'm worried that my body with intake foreign chemicals. What's your thoughts on this?
The company informs me that the device is made from abs plastic but how can I/we besure? Worth wearing a condom?

Has anyone became addicted to this? I.e started to prefer it over sex as that is the last thing I want to do.

I am a straight guy and obviously naturally it's a weird thing to do, but I guess if I want to try it I need to get my head around it.

Thanks

Hi aptm296,

I advise you to thoroughly read the Wiki and Introductory Info on the Aneros website. Your concerns are covered there. As far as addiction is concerned, I suspect it could become a habit since it does feel really good.

Good luck!

aptm296,

As spinx indicated there is a wealth of information to be found in the WIKI and in the General Discussion section of the forum. I would strongly suggest that you check out the Helpful Links for New Members link at the top of the General Discussion section of the main page. Much of this information has been indexed for your convenience.

All Aneros devices are made of medical grade materials, they are non-toxic and will not break down under normal use*.

For a discussion of lubricants I would refer you to the WIKI. Just to give you a thumbnail....there are products to suit everyone's needs including many "natural" commercial preparations. We even have some discussion of homemade lubes.

With respect to "addiction" .... it's possible to become habituated to just about anything. But if you're wondering if Aneros use will supplant your normal desire to be with a woman, I'd say no. There are few things that can take the place of passionate interaction. That said, the Aneros is wonderful for solo pursuits and is equally delightful in a partnered setting.

Enjoy!

* Aneros SYN and VICE models are comprised of silicone and cannot be used with silicone lubricants. Silicone lubricants will degrade silicone devices. Oil and water based lubricants are the only products that may be used with these models.
