Hi everyone,

I have read quite a bit on the forums and gained a lot of useful information regarding the use and misuse of the Aneros product line. I have been experimenting with anal play for sometime and started to get bored with some of the other toys I had bought over the last couple of years.

Having some experience with anal play, I decided to buy the Aneros Vice a few months ago. I have had many good orgasms using the device just experimenting various suggestions posted on this website. I haven't been able to really reach anything near what some members call Super-O. At this point, I am getting a bit frustrated on the lack of success. I do get some tingling sensations when I use the device.

What am I doing wrong? I notice that the device doesn't move very well and I'm not sure how much it should actually move when it is in place. I suppose it moves about 2 inches but I sort of need to push and pull in back in. I haven't experienced any involuntary contractions yet - maybe I haven't recognized them. Should I try a different Aneros device?

Any thoughts is much appreciated.

Vis.

Guys,

The Vice is one of my favorite toys. When driven by involuntary contractions, the most it moves in and out is about 1/4-inch and generally less than that. Doesn't seem like a lot but it feels amazing. As someone in this forum mentioned, if you want to manually stimulate yourself with Vice, use the same finger pressure and small motions you would use on a woman's clitoris. Vice is not designed to be used like a dildo.

Cheers,

Dave

I started off with the Vice as well. Read a lot of Tens n Hut's posts and had a lot of wonderful sensations with it. Sometimes i'm a little slow with things but it took me a while to figure out the movement was where it was at for me so I bought a Progasm Ice. Since buying and using the Ice things have progressed at a much faster pace for me. 90% of the time i use the Ice but the vice has some great features like the ability to wear it comfortably while sitting (computer, TV, etc), and no one is the wiser. I hardly ever use the vibe. That being said, I think after i'm a little more experienced the vice will come back into play. I'm still happy I bought it.

Good luck.

vis334,

I congratulate you for your foresight and previous research as well as your early orgasmic success using your VICE, I'm confident your prior anal play with other toys is probably a contributing factor with this. However, dildos, butt plugs, anal beads, etc. are all examples of devices which rely upon macro stimulation to produce their effects.

I have had many good orgasms using the device just experimenting various suggestions posted on this website. I haven't been able to really reach anything near what some members call Super-O.

Aneros massagers actually are most effective as micro stimulators through their gentle massaging action generated via involuntary pelvic floor muscle contractions. The Super-O is more readily obtained through relaxation and a more passive stimulative approach, manual manipulation via your hands or other means is not required nor is it recommended by the manufacturer.

I am getting a bit frustrated on the lack of success. I do get some tingling sensations when I use the device. What am I doing wrong?

Frustration is usually a result of unmet expectations, and expecting this form of orgasm to be the same as a traditional ejaculatory orgasm is not a good comparison IMHO. You have already reported having good orgasms from your VICE. I suspect when you drop your expectations for much more you will open the flood gates for all kinds of new sensations. This journey is probably more mental than physical. Please read the Penis, NOT! thread by 'Cockadoodle' and 'rook's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind - the mental side for a little insight.

I notice that the device doesn't move very well and I'm not sure how much it should actually move when it is in place. I suppose it moves about 2 inches but I sort of need to push and pull in back in.

It actually takes very little movement, (see user Poll Aneros Movement, How far does it move?), less than 5/8" for most men to experience wonderful stimulation from these devices, trying to force yours to through 2" of travel is probably excessive and counterproductive.

I haven't experienced any involuntary contractions yet - maybe I haven't recognized them.

As mentioned above this sensual journey is largely a mental one. It necessitates you to focus your awareness on the more subtle sensations being produced by your body. Using sub-conscious intent and allowing your body to express itself through its own subtle language is the kind of encouragement which will prove most successful, not brute force or imposition of one's ego/will to 'make it happen'.

Should I try a different Aneros device?

While different Aneros devices do provide differing stimulation, it really makes little difference if you are not attuned to listen to your body nor have the ability to focus on the sensations which are being produced. Since you are getting good sensations from your current device, I suggest you stay with that one for awhile as you learn to focus your mind on what your body is communicating to you with that model.
