I tried the helix for first time last night. Pleasurable but no po. When how can I expect that?
From my limited understanding of the usage of the aneros, you enjoy it the most (Super O's, etc) by just 'letting go', as it were. If you are familiar with the concept of 'subspace' in BDSM it feels similar to that.
You basically, for a lack of a better way of putting it, have to sexualize letting it do whatever it wants to you. And it will do unspeakable things to you if you let it. Your subconscious should be in control, not your rational mind.
You want the results, but you have to have no expectations. You have to want it, but you have to give up control of the experience to the device. You don't have traditional orgasms, so don't sit there expecting something like what you're used to. Don't expect anything. Just go with whatever sensations it gives you and don't force anything or try to 'ramp the feeling up', just enjoy each sensation for as long as they last. Go with the flow, as it were.
Training yourself to experience a prostate orgasm presents a fairly long learning curve, steeper for some than others--for me almost a year. Merely relax for now, maybe even for the first month or so just getting the feel for it and learning how to sense subtle feelings inside. Though there are a variety of approaches, what worked best for me was relaxing on my back with it in and doing gentle PC muscle contractions (that's the gentle "pull" you'd use to cut off urine flow midstream--not hard pulling in with your anus) while tickling your nipples.
Over time you should be able to feel quivering contractions in your anus when you do this and a funny involuntary pulling sensation of the massager being sucked into and gripped by your rectum. Focus on what facilitates these sensations and with time and practice you should start feeling warm pre-orgasmic feelings deep in your pelvis when you do this that will eventually flow out into your penis with a pleasant burning like you want to ejaculate feeling. With continued practice these sensations will come more easily and will be wonderfully intense like you're ejaculating for a long time with nothing coming out, even building one upon another in succession and filling your pelvis and body with wonderful feelings.
Read the good information contributed here and practice, practice, practice, all however doing so with a very relaxed "seeing where it will take you" approach and you'll enjoy every step along the way. Though I can now easily have super-O's and enjoy them very much, I'd actually enjoy if there was a way to start all over again and experience each of the new discoveries as they come along. So don't miss the fun of doing that and get caught up in the frustration of "when is it going to come?"

Pretty much nobody gets instant results with Aneros. Don't be discouraged by that. It's well worth the wait.
Here are some key notes:
You should relax both mentally and physically. You're unlikely to see any benefit if you're distracted or if you're doing anything physically demanding whilst you're trying to use an Aneros device.
Many of the sensations start off being extremely subtle. You need to be able to listen to what your body is telling you. If you miss the subtle feelings when they happen, so will your body. You should include a period of quiet observation into any session, before and after any sequence of contractions or movement. Mental focus on a pleasant sensation can often cause it to grow or spread.
Progress happens at your body's own pace. You can't force it. Enjoy the sensations of the moment and don't try to influence the form or outcome of a session. Even the most experienced users have unsatisfying sessions from time to time.
Beyond that there are two camps: those who try to do exercises which get the body into a state where it is automatically stimulating itself through involuntary muscle movement, and those who just relax and let the body find its own stimulation.
Excellent simple and profound response.

This is a very good thread, guys. I like very much twlltin's key notes of Relaxation, Observation, and Acceptance.
When my Aneros Helix Syn sessions began to take off several weeks ago, that is when I began to "sexualize" my Aneros! Just thinking about the Aneros, especially when I am approaching a session, I certainly become sexually aroused. I begin to have that anticipation in my groin, certainly in my prostate, and yes, I begin to emit precum!
Generally when I approach a session, I like to prepare myself with some foreplay. Deep, sensuous breathing relaxes me. When I insert my Aneros, I relax for a few minutes on my side and then position myself lying in a missionary position with my butt placed on a pillow. Deep, slow, rhythmic breathing helps me along and actually causes the Aneros to massage my prostate. I try to go with flow by Relaxation, Observation, and Acceptance that twlltin speaks about. I am amazed out how much I can learn from each session. Each session is unique!
