Firstly, thanks to B Mayfield for his brilliant posts.
I was actually set for the long haul when I first used the Helix, nothing much happening first time out, but my disappointment was quelled straight away after reading this forum with all the 'patience' and 'stick with it' comments.
Anyway, each session brought a new sensation to the table, including involuntary anal and PC contractions, and I am progressing well. Last week, however, I decided to take some time to work on my contraction techniques, along the lines of those written by the above mentioned guru. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was quick to start getting involuntary contractions of the anal and PC muscles so I worked on these and managed to identify and separate the muscle groups in my pelvis, alternating between them, using base contractions and letting the involuntaries do their thing.
After a couple more sessions with the helix over the course of a week, I noticed my kegel exercise sessions becoming more like an aneros session pleasure-wise. Then not long ago, I had the best sexual experience for... well since I first cum as a teenager. My descriptive skills are not the best but the feeling was like the point at which you are about to ejaculate, you know the first spasm in an ejaculatory orgasm (before you cum) but flattened out and held for about 5 seconds, real hard contraction coupled with a feeling of intense pleasure. After a few seconds I slowly relaxed down to a 1/3 contraction and the pulsing continued. The second wave came after about 30 seconds and was more intense, teeth grittingly intense, like my rectum and swollen prostate were trying to touch each other like a big clenched fist. By the time I had relaxed off again I managed to bring on the third one just by thinking that I wanted one, or maybe it was brought on by arousal from the arousal, like a cyclic effect. After the third I slowly relaxed back to a state of rest where I just lay panting, in a combination of disbelief and euphoria, and feeling loads of pre-cum on my balls. It seems all I have to do now to get this going is slightly contract my PC muscles, hold it and follow it with an anal contraction and I start the spasms, then I know I'm on my way. No erection at all by the way.
I can do it on demand, at any time. It's just mad..!
I'm looking forward to my next Helix session, this will be my first since these Dry Os.
A question though, although each guy's experience is different, is this something that's been experienced by other users..? It seems a little back to front, not complaining a bit though..!
Finally thanks to all who commented on my other post, thanks for the encouragement, you were right I was heading the right way, just not as fast as I thought. I've only owned the thing for a few weeks..!

@Bunk...Considering that some guys take many months to get to where you are, I'd say you are doing great! Enjoy those waves...they are what can build into bigger and bigger orgasms over time! Keep enjoying what you get...relax more...and let your body and mind experience the stimulation!

@Bunk - I have recently acquired a Tempo and on initial use, not much at all - decided to do some contractions laying on my right side, on my left, on my back and up on all fours - sometimes a pleasant sensation of fullness, the occasional mild pleasure wave, but nothing extraordinary - wondered if this was going to be an expensive dud for me. Took it out, woke up later and I'm swathed in total ecstasy.
The folds of my rectum pouting at each other, caressing, rippling, yearning for an absent satisfaction and in that yearning cascading warming tendrils of orgasmic delight, throughout the anal canal and radiating outwards to every pore of skin. Wow...I can identify with EVERY sensation you just described---100%! I am, while typing this, bathing in a pool of liquid bliss...without my Aneros inserted...completely amazing, and all I'm doing is relaxing into it, a little squeeze here and there and I'm in ecstasy...no drugs, no alcohol, just me, my prostate, my anal canal...all in a harmonious conversation and I'm going on my 2nd hour! OMG!
Bunk...What I just described is one possible result you have to look forward to experiencing...which sounds much like what you described already...again, enjoy!

Since noboby has mentioned this. When we have "sessions" like you describe without even using the Aneros we call it an 'Aneroless" session. I discovered early in my journey that in between using Aneros I would have sessions without and focus on breathing and contractions and I think I made more progess during these sessions.
