First Aneros Experience

So, I had my very first session with my Helix. While I did feel a tiny bit of "flushing" as if there was a breeze moving in my lower body, mostly what I felt was that I had a large and unpleasant foreign object in my body that my butt was happy to expel. While there was no pain in inserting the Helix, it did not go in without some effort. Yes, I did lube it a fair amount.

Is my experience common? Does it get easier to insert the Helix over time? Do my butt muscles learn to relax? Does the sense of wanting to expel the Helix go away? Your thoughts and suggestions, please and thanks.

Yes, it gets easier with time, but due to the size, relaxation is important and there will be days where it is more difficult than others. The feeling of wanting to expel it will go away as you get more relaxed and learn to hold a very very minor PC or anal contraction to assist in stimulating the generation of P-Waves. Paradoxically, however, as you get increasingly aroused, you'll feel the aneros moving, and it will feel like it is going to pop out. However, put your hand down there, and its moving back and forth not only in the out direction. Just focus on relaxing, let you sphicter totally relax. As the Aneros starts to stimulate the prostate, you'll get tingling which will instinctively trigger a bit of contraction. Once that happens, you'll be writing about your butt's death grip on the device more than you will about it ejecting from your body. Good luck!

@sfman I think the discomfort is only natural, just because it’s a new sensation and we are not used to having things lodged there. Your body will get used to it and you will be able to relax more. Keep using plenty of lube, and give yourself some time between sessions if you feel soreness. Good luck to you.
