Feeling good but very confused and frustrated

Don't know if frustrated is the right word, but definitely confused in trying to assess where I am at. Since July I've probably had 15 sessions with my Helix. Other than one or two anal plays from the wife over the last 20 years this has been my first foray into anal pleasures.

I think I've made a lot of progress. I've felt things that I've never felt before. I think I've had something like a dry O, though it never was in the head of the penis. I've had such a high wave of pleasure that the helix actually came out. And I've had sustained periods of bliss that can last up to 20 minutes or so. Oh, I've gotten plenty of involuntaries where the helix is fucking me, but those don't seem to bring the most pleasure. But, what I've never done is "gotten over the hump." I've never had a Super O, and I certainly haven't had a dry O as described by people here. Now, let me be clear, the feelings that I have had on occassion are better than any feelings I've ever experienced, and definitely better than my current TOs, so I'm not complaining about the joys the helix has brought. I just don't know how to get to the next level.

I found myself contracting more and more, and then I read the "unauthorized" chat where a member was coached to do nothing and just focus on the feelings: no contractions. I tried this for my last session. I was pretty successful but at times either involuntarily or subconsciously I would contract for a half second to a second to "re-ignite" a feeling, etc. The session was great; lots of great feelings, sensations, and again attained a high pleasure plateau for quite some time. HOWEVER, again it didn't go anywhere further, so that come time to end the session (I only had a little over an hour for this one) I was left with a great, tingling feeling, but also a great sense of wanting and unfulfillment. I didn't jack off after, as I try not to so as not to confuse my body (after 2 earlier session I broke this rule).

But, I just don't know what to try because it really seems like I'm not getting anymore progress. I tell myself not to be results oriented, and to take what the sessions gives. For the most part I do this. However, I still can't escape that post-session feeling of frustration; why are you leading me down this road Ms. Helix and then not letting me in?

Any suggestions, techniques, or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Are you able to have another session with the Helix in the very near future? It sounds like you're getting very close. Give it time and a little more practice. But don't leave it more than a couple of days until the next session. You want to reinforce the feelings you got before your body forgets how it got them.

Well, that's been a problem lately. It seems there is always someone around these days. The last session I had was yesterday, and it happened in an inpromptu manner when everyone cleared out for different reasons. Before that is was more than a week. When my next opportunity will be is anyone's guess.

Yeah, I have this confusion too. When I'm having sessions, my muscles start contracting without me consciously telling them to, they just do by itself because it feels good. But I'm not sure if those contractions are truly involuntary and helping the progression, or not really involuntary and killing the progression.

was able to get a quick session in today...about 50 minutes. I know I'll do a poor job describing this, but the quickest and simplest way I can is I think my brain is getting confused. I get to the point where things are feeling great, like i almost can't take anymore. Today I tried when that happened to put my hands at my sides or over my head and just say "go ahead, take me" to the aneros. It feels wonderful, but it is almost as if as soon as I feel these just fantastically incredible feelings building up to "something" my brain triggers and says "will this be the O or the dry O?" and then it's like it switches to a "ok, ok, wait for it, here it comes" mode. But, of course, because my brain is now using its conscious triggers (as opposed I suppose to the subconscious ones used when you're most relaxed) so the "get there" never actually "gets there." So, I have to regroup and try again to keep my brain out of the way. It never fails though, I just can't keep it out. And, just when I think it's in a position to trigger an O type feeling that might even run up through my penis, or perhaps the ultimate prize - a super, it's like it gets its wires crossed and messes it up. Sorry, don't mean to vent or even sound like venting, just looking for ways to break on through to the other side. Hey, I think someone said that before 😉 Thanks, guys.

I agree, I think you just need to keep practicing, and one of these sessions it will just happen. I had my biggest "breakthroughs" completely out of the blue.

Rck,

I concur with the advice from the other members here. It appears that you've made some good progress and are seeing some wonderful results. As far as dealing with mind chatter goes, this is a common annoyance for many users. I'm sure that you've heard of the "sleeping method"? The reason that it works (for some) is that it bypasses a hyperactive thought process and simply allows the body to react to the device involuntarily. That said, I'm not an advocate of this approach in so far as learning goes. There are other states of consciousness that induce a more passive state of mind and are IMO more productive with regard to learning. Meditation and the use of hypnosis are two such method that act to quite the mind noise. Of the two, hypnosis is probably a cheaper and more accessible alternative in the short term. If you know how to practice self hypnosis....have at it. I've used it to great advantage in my sessions. If you don't, there are audio resources such as the HypnAerosession CD that will allow you to get there without the need for any formal training. Outside of that, just stay with it and allow things to reveal themselves to you.

Cheers,

BF Mayfield

The "sleeping method" was for me only a pointer that made me aware that this little plastic blob could have some effect. It only ever happened once for me. Once I got that, I wanted to be able to replicate the effect reliably. It took a few weeks before I could do so.

I'd disagree slightly with BMayfield about having to totally clear the mind. Sometimes ignoring the actions of the Aneros and letting your thoughts wash past without paying them too much attention can pay off with an element of surprise. Concentrating too hard can sometimes be a session killer, too.
