False alarm: Progasm headaches

A couple of days ago I used for the first time one of my two brand new Progasms 20th anniversary edition (classic and ice) and was very impressed, especially with its ability, as advertised, to stay put where it is supposed to. However, about a half hour after the session, I began to get persistent headaches of a kind I had never had before. They spread across my whole head. The next day, I tried again and the headaches then lasted the whole day.

As you can imagine, this was a major disappointment and concern! The working hypothesis I developed was that the new Progasm was so damned good I was reacting in some fashion that was giving me headaches. Maybe it was the blissed lolling backward of my head with my mouth wide open. If I was going to continue to use the Progasm I was going to have to figure out how to comport my body to avoid the pain in my head. Maybe I needed to relax more, and in some fashion.

Yesterday morning I was diagnosed with Omicron COVID. It appears that headaches are a major symptom of the Omicron variant. They had nothing to do with the Progasm. So I am in the odd position of being relieved that I have COVID. (And in the meantime, I am well on my way to recovery.)

I didn't use my Progasm when I had Covid last month, but mine must have been Omicron as well. My first full day of it was close to migraine status (I get them) and I spent much of the day with an ice pack at the base of my scull. Just one day. Coughing and tired for a week. Had worse colds before.

As for the Progasm, you got the Classic and Ice (I only have the Ice version) - is there a difference to function?

Covid was my first thought when I started reading this post! I had such a bad headache that when I dragged myself to the doctor, they gave me a shot just for the headache. Hope it passes quickly, my friend!

Gotta get one on those new programs. I'd like to hear what you think about the difference in finish. My old style progasm is an ice version and I really enjoy the slickness, many years ago, I had the standard material version...I was too clueless to remember much about it other than I though it was just big. Hadn't quite figured things out back then!

I actually had a great session when I had covid. I wasn’t too bad tho,a slight headache,not a migraine. I found I was extra relaxed when I was sick which worked well lol.

You can get a headache or feel a little flat after a long session though,probably due to depletion of chemicals but it’s usually rare.

Yep, it can also happen if you hold a lot of tension in your face, neck, jaw etc. when experiencing a Super-O. Relax, people !

My COVID symptoms have now gone. Once I get a chance to compare the classic and the ice, over the coming weeks, I will report back with any observations.
