I use the helix and had a question for the experts that have been using the aneros for a while. I have been using the helix now since about last July and have experienced the Super-O etc.

I have noticed lately that I am not as much in the mood and have had some very weak O's. I seem to be going through a phase where I can't get the involuntaries to work as good and the feeling like, I don't want anything stuck up my butt. Anyone ever had this feeling? I am in my mid 40's and have used the aneros around 2 times a week at the most and some weeks less. I have not over done it. One thing I can say is that I have been under more stress, been more tired, and irritable.

I can't really describe the feeling, but I have noticed when I use it that even the good sensations afterwards (the twitching) don't even happen like they did. I used to have the twitching for about a day before they would go away. Now I don't even have that!

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi ffd71!

I think everyone occasionally "just wants to be left alone"!

I personally don't even attempt a session, unless I am feeling good and also horny! (a prerequisite for me!) Tired, irritable and stressed,
isn't a good way to start a session! (probably over-powering all else!)

I would try to get out of your funk, entirely, before going for it in the Aneros arena! I would also look into diet, vitamins
and getting good sleep every nite! Then see if your attitude changes a little more toward happy, rested and horny!

This is how I see it . . .

I do not know if I should consider myself an expert but I have been using these for quite some time.
I agree with hlaser in the fact that if I am stressed or tired I do not attempt any prostate stimulation. You might want to research some of zaneblue's post or even buy her book you can find it online at amazon the title is The Orgasmic Diet. The omega-3 fatty acids should increase your sex drive. Are you taking any new medications?

Right, luvinaneros!

I forgot!

I am on large doses of Fish Oil, as Zane indicated according to my weight!

This is something that I feel increases overall health, as well . . .

Consider dehydration and libido.

My health is in excellent condition! I take fish oil already and take herbs reguarly prescibed by a naturopathic doctor. My diet is excellent and I eat the right kind of foods. I do exercise regulary and I DO NOT take any medications. The only thing I can figure is the stress and being overloaded. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks for you replies!

No! That's not what I meant! I am a straight guy who LOVES the prostate massage and the O's that I get from it. I have experienced some AWESOME O's from the aneros. I am just startled that all of sudden I can't get to where I was a month ago. Just trying to figure out what is going on. Thought just maybe that someone on here has experienced a period of time where they were not in the mood, you know what I mean?

My sex drive is very low right now, don't know why! Just like I said above, its not medications or diet. Maybe its because of the stress and overload that I am under right now. Lot going on in my life. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced a similar episode and what they done about it.

ffd71,

I have had and still do have, from time to time, what I call "dry spells" where I feel the Aneros is suddenly NOT giving me Super-O's!

Could this be what you are experiencing???

All I can do during these periods is to try not to get depressed about it, knowing that it ALWAYS comes back to me . . .
and usually at a higher level than it was before! IT ALWAYS DOES, TOO!

Stress can cause impotence, so I am sure it can push your Dry Orgasms to the back burner, as well!

Hang in there, Man and hopefully it will take care of its own cure???

Thanks a million for the encouragement. I guess it is a dry spell!

I was hoping to also here from Darwin and some of the other ones that I see on here all the time.

I know that there are some on here that have had considerable years under their belt and would like to hear from them as well, if they see it any different or have had any experince with this.

THANKS!
