Ever near, ever so close, Yet so far, in fact many miles away from Super-O

Hi guys,

Ever since early January I have been having Aneros sessions six days a week with a few exceptions, and I believe that I am making exceptional progress. I have tried to not place any expectations upon myself as to achieving the Super-O, but instead let such Aneros blessings come of their own accord and in their own time. It has been my intention all along just have fun and pleasure at my sessions. That in itself has done its trick.

However it seems today I have crashed into a roadblock. It arose from a couple personal misunderstandings with two friends of mine. I was Anerosing just fine this morning when those misunderstandings intruded my consciousness. I had no choice to bring my session to an abrupt end. It seemed that my Aneros balloon had been punctured!

Now tonight I am weighed under with the realization that I am near, ever so close, yet so far, in fact many miles away from the Super-O.

Has anyone had this debilitating realization as regards the Aneros as underlined above? And how to get out of such a malaise? I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on this matter.

Thank you,

Thom./BigGlansDC

Thom, You've always seemed like a pretty upbeat guy, I think your just letting them get you down. Is the glass half empty or half full? Change the things you can and don't worry about everything else. Shake it off and move on. There will always be hateful people out there just trying to bring everyone else down. In my opinion being happy and smiling can and will piss those people off. Hope that helps inspire you

🙂

Thank you, @ineverknew. I am going to try to have a session, perhaps an abbreviated one, tomorrow morning because I do volunteering on Wednesdays.

@BigGlansDC, I agree with @ineverknew. My experience so far is that there is always a new experience around every corner and a new ledge to jump from at the end of every plateau in the land of Aneros. It's like going to college and spending four years focused on just getting the diploma instead of being in the moment and appreciating the class you are experiencing right now.

And how to get out of such a malaise? While I've certainly had the realization that "mind noise" can kick the joy out of an Anerosession, I also know that it is only debilitating if you let it be. As long as you allow extraneous thoughts to weigh upon your mind there won't be much point in having Anerosessions. Relaxation, meditation, exercising, engaging in trivial activities, etc. are all possible remedial strategies. Dwelling upon the natural differences of opinions of friends is not likely to ease your mental malaise nor resolve the inherent disparity. Perhaps it might be beneficial to go back and re-read my "Just Let Go !" thread.

A Super-O may be much closer to you than you know, it is a stealthy beast that pounces only when its target is totally unaware of its imminent attack.

Good Vibes to You !

Hi @beegee6, Thank you for sharing with me these words of wisdom concerning the Aneros journey. Also thank you for your PM which I am pondering right now, but which I will get back to you.A Super-O may be much closer to you than you know, it is a stealthy beast that pounces only when its target is totally unaware of its imminent attack.

Hi @rumel, Thank you for your kind words of wisdom speaking to my frustrations of lead with my Aneros sessions. And thank you also for telling about the "stealthy beast" above which you described as a tiger.

@rumel, said" Super-O may be much closer to you than you know, it is a stealthy beast that pounces only when its target is totally unaware of its imminent attack." (My tablet won't do quotes)
Yes, well, my inner control know that and so far is one step ahead of the Super-O, and is not letting up on its vigilance.
Interestingly I do have a tight control that has its own agenda. I have found it has blocked other spiritual experiences.

Well I always think outside the box where I can so to me I would say that it's all a part of your journey and you will deal with it in your own way or your mind will work out a way for you to deal with it. A temporary block on your way to amazing experiences, a small splinter on the first rung of the ladder, it will pass and you'll get up to the next step, have faith in yourself and stay focused, good luck!

Hi guys,

I was able to achieve resolution in the misunderstandings that I had with two friends over the weekend. I feel better now. Tonight I am looking forward toward having a sound sleep, and a good Aneros session first thing tomorrow morning.

Also it is good to miss a session once in a while, if you are not up for it.

Thank you all for your concern.

Thom./BigGlansDC
