Eupho mod, did I ruined it?

hi I have and old model of eupho, the one in silicon with red hard plastic base.

i modded it, cutting this part off (not same model just to show).

 

did I ruined it? Will it have less pressure on the prostate zone now?

let me know if it better not using it, I'm new to aneros I don't want to start with the wrong model.

(I modded it because it was uncomfortable to lay on the back with that piece plastic touching the bed).
