Until now I have never had one during a session, in fact the opposite happens, my penis attempts to go back from whence it came. But last time it started throbbing and ended up resembling a rod of iron. Unfortunately I had to end the session earlier than I would have liked, due to unforeseen circumstances. Now I know some men don't experience an erection, even during a super o. But I've also read in the wiki that this could be a milestone. Any thoughts here guys..?

you just got an erection during a session.... as for milestone i don't know about that... but a spontaneous rock hard erection... be proud, if that's anything like a milestone? those are my thoughts

I'm the opposite.
My erections come and go throughout my sessions but the success or failure doesn't really depend on being hard or soft.

i feel erections are irrelevant to any kind of orgasm which is prostate centered. But prostate massage does effect everyone differently. For me erections come and go during sessions. Personally I wouldnt dwell on an erection if it does occur. There was a good thread on here called "penis not", might want to look that up and read it, lots of good advice.
