Ejaculation denial. Did I just hurt myself?

I practice edging/ejaculation denial. I used to think it was a form of tantric until I started reading here. I had been masturbating (actually humping the fake pussy) for days. About 3 days ago I quit because there was no fun left. Just release orgasm. Normally, I don't feel much pleasure in my balls, but the need to cum had been building for so many days that my balls were like twin suns. Each producing BLINDING pleasure as they futility try to force orgasm by themselves. After one particularly intense session my balls felt kinda funny. I reached down and felt alot of fluid around my left testicle. Feeling that, I panicked. I figured I needed to cum right then. Now, unlike any any other time in the last few days, my dick wasn't hard or sensitive. I had to try for quite a while before I got to the edge. When I finally orgasmed it didn't feel like it went anywhere. At least 5 shots didn't go anywhere. I felt the back-pressure/flow into my testicle. That didn't hurt but it was REALLY weird. Today I feel the heavieness in my hand, but not preceptively. Nothing is swollen, but it feels weird. Am I ok?

Sudden erectile dysfunction or erectile dysfunction in general can be a sign of heart disease, i'm sorry to scare you like that but it is what I read yesterday though it was only one source i doubt that that is your problem though unless you have a history with ED. Just something to consider.

There could be a number of things that could be going on here...retrograde ejaculation, where semen goes into the bladder during an ejaculation (this sometimes causes bladder infections).

Epididymitis is an infection the the epididymus, the seminal chords that are on the top of the testicles and which help sperm begin their journey to the promised land http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epididymitis. I've had an infection here and it can cause back pain and blood in your semen (eeeewwww). This can be cleared up with an antibiotic.

Testicular torsion is another possibility http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testicular_torsion and this is fairly serious. You need to go see a urologist right away...like tomorrow.

It may be nothing but then again, if it is something, these parts are too important to jack with (no pun intended).

Let us know how it goes. Hoping for the best for you pal.

It's possible your pelvic muscles were so fatigued by your multi-day edging sessions that they literally couldn't push the semen out anywhere. My guess is you just overdid it, and need to rethink your masturbatory strategies. But you could have also inflamed the area, and that can lead to plenty of pain, too.

Yes, you're okay. Give yourself a rest a few days and try some sitz baths, you know, the old warm water baths where you sit in the tub and let the warm water soothe the aching testicles and scrotal contents and pelvic floor muscles.

Next times you're masturbating, just do it "normally", that is to release the urge and let the built up semen flow out. Though there's nothing wrong with going to the doctor, I can't think of anything he'd find he needs to check on you unless you're at the age where annual visits are appropriate.

I think I'm in trouble. My balls don't hurt. I rested all today, but I was curious. So just now I tried to have a quick orgasm to try and clear the blockage from yesterday, but nothing came out. I can feel it just staying in the left testicle.

Is it possible that I strained so hard yesterday that I tore something? My balls were pulling up harder than ever before.

Hi @Wander_Smoke,

I suggest two things. (1) Your edging several days without orgasm with ejaculation may have given you a classic case of blue balls. I suggest that you give your "man equipment" several days rest.

(2) But if this condition continues and there is still discomfort, then yes, see your doctor.

Many years ago when I was in my 30's, one day I masturbated so hard that I tore or injured (I think) the ductus deferens in one of my testicles [see diagram]. When I ejaculated, my semen had blood in it. There was also slight pain. Fortunately when I abstained from masturbation for several days or a week, the condition went away. I was greatly relieved. 😉

I called the doctor's office and they weren't busy, so I went right in. Doc says there's nothing wrong with me. He says that what I told him was impossible. I am obstructed somehow. I guess I'll wait a couple days. If it gets worse I'll call a urologist.

Man some doctors are truly good for nothing now a days i can't tell you how many times a person that i knew was sick and the doc said that there was nothing wrong, then they go to another doctor and they give them a full diagnosis of their symptom ugh. How can he say that what you've done was impossible when you did it? Sounds like he just simply didn't know what to do and didn't want to sacrifice his credibiity.

@Wandering_Smoke, any update? I find it hard to believe edging could cause any problems other then blue balls, though I think I might have given myself some minor prostate irritation once but it went away after a few days. Kinda like mild prostatitis, just felt like i couldnt empty my bladder.

Don't know how knowledgeable the doc you saw may or may not have been on urologic issues, but semen fluids are not made in the testicles and so even if a "blockage" in your testicle as you are thinking about could occur, it shouldn't stop the fluids made in your Cowpers glands, prostate, and seminal vesicles.

@bigglans - yes vigorous masturbation can cause specks of blood in the semen. Resting a few days with no activity fixes that.

@wanderingsmoke - give yourself a few days of rest and see what happens. If you're peeing okay (and I don't see why you shouldn't be) there should be no problems with the rest of your plumbing that gets your semen to the outside world.
