Just a quick one for those willing to reply: roughly how long do you fellas start getting your first dry orgasm feelings on average? i feel my sessions are a little too short (about 30 mins) and wonder if i should be going a little longer...

For me, it used to take 1 to 2 hours before I'd get what I'd refer to at the time as a Dry-O. Now it takes me somewhere in between 5 and 15 minutes to begin having Dry-O's. It's when the Dry-O's come one after the other and roll into each other when the fun really begins!

I've also found that as the months progress, the intensity of my orgasms have increased. I'm not saying that each session creates more intensity. It is more the average intensity of my sessions has steadily increased over time.

Having an answr to the question will be less useful than you hope.

Why do you believe your sessions are too short, and what do you expect to achieve by extending them?

If they're short because of schedule restrictions, being preoccupied by the wall-clock will invariably have suboptimal results.

If they're short because you get bored or things have fizzled out, don't hassle it. I've needlessly extended plenty of sessions in hope of getting a little more.

Thats not why I'm asking PSLabs. I think i find myself not giving enough time, each session is like a roller coaster with highs and lows, sometimes the lows are more common and last much longer than the highs and I find myself wanting instant gratification, hence my asking about sessions not being long enough.

My best sessions have been when my prostate is already giving me p-waves from aneros-less feelings, it's already awake and means i don't require so much of a build up. So when I'm 'cold starting' it when i don't have p-waves i think I'm not giving it enough time. Do you see?

I think I do. What I hear you say is that the good sessions end because you've reached some level of satisfaction, and continuing isn't necessary. The not-as-good ones end because they don't seem to be going anywhere, and continuing is unlikely to be rewarding.

I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm comfortable with pulling the ripcord on a dud session early. Even my go-nowhere rides are getting better as I practice more.

That's exactly how it is for me. Good comment.

Yes that is generally what I mean, except for the fact that a session might be good, things are building, but the time in between the lows of the sessions and the high's are getting wider and i take this to mean its tailing off where I actually believe that if i continued on it would lead to dry orgasms or a least a more intense experience. I find myself occasionally wanting an 'easy fix' so usually I will Super-T as a result, often i am turned on so much that i cannot resist.

It seems that when people are saying that an average is around 30-60 mins then this is very much what I'm not doing, Ive given up some sessions after 20 mins thinking that it won't go anywhere, even though I have this nagging, subconscious feeling that I'm not giving it enough of a go before i give up.

Is is rare for me to feel satisfied in an aneros session, i have not felt like that for a long time indeed.

Then I did not completely grasp what you said earlier. If I may recap what you just said: your p-wave intensity or frequency tapers off, but you're still super aroused and unsatisfied.

I think you've already identified things you might do differently. Pushing through the urge to masturbate and extend the session a little bit is definitely worth trying.

My own arousal and p-waves feed each other. If I still want more while the waves are fading, I'll stick around a while to see if they return. I try to look at finishing a session with masturbation more as "I'm ready for this" than as "I need to do this." I'm not always successful at that, but I try.

Yes pushing through is what i need to do more of, resisting the urge to shoot.I sort of mentally give up in session after a while, even though afterwards I'm sure it would have been worthwhile to continue on. I don't know if this is because i think its as far as i can go or if its actually because I'm being impatient for 'reward'

I have very low patience thresholds these days!

I also find that my true arousal level required for sessions doesn't seem to happen as often as it once did. Often i feel as though i am ready but I am not, i just want an orgasm of any kind. It's a sort of lack of understanding what my mind and body want, or not hearing what it wants correctly.

It seems i get one or two sessions a month I'm actually ready for and when i have those sessions they last hours and almost always have lots of amazing highs and almost no dips, just constant pleasure!

I do work hard though away from home and do lots of driving, so I'm often exhausted for most of the time, so this could likely be a big factor.

This seems to vary a lot from person to person. For me the first one usually comes approx 5 minutes in.

A couple of months ago my sessions was quite short and I could not recognize my sessions with what I read here. Now I find that I enjoy things for a longer time. It seems to be a combination of mental concentration and physical endurance.

I asked pretty much the same thing at the time and you can read the answers here
