I wrote to Dr Lin at the Lin Institute (actionlove.com) about prostate massagers. This is my correspondence:

I was wondering if you recommend prostate massages. I
recently purchased the aneros, a prostate massager. I have heard it
can produce a whole body orgasm and is also good for prostate health.
Do you recomment this?

I recently found out thru a saliva hormone test that my DHEA levels are
about 750 and my testosterone levels are a little low. Do you know
what causes this? I have read that it might be a cyst, but I am
against surgury, unless it is a last resort. I am going to retest my
hormones in 6 months after I've tried some alternative therapies.
Thanks for your time.

Do you recomment this?

Pressure massage onto the prostate for multiple over-ejaculation that
kills seminal production, for urinary (no semen) ejaculation, and for no more sexual orgasm

Do you know what causes this?
Your testicular function is too weak, nearly dead.

I don't understand. I am not trying to massage my
prostate to ejaculate, but to heal it, and possibly also a
non-ejaculatory whole body orgasm. Is it healthy or not to lightly
massage the prostate? I am not doing a "pressure massage" but an ever
so slight massage. What makes you say my testicular funtion is nearly
dead?
Thanks.

the reason prostate hidden inside your body is to avoid external
contact.

What makes you say my testicular funtion is nearly dead?
You DHEA level is high, your testosterone/DHT level are low.
the testicular function is responsible for DHEA-testosterone-DHT
conversion.

Isn't the prostate relatively accessible? You could say the female G spot is hidden also, but it is very healthy to massage that.

Thanks.

female G-Spot is in between Vagina and urethra, the vagina is wild open for penetration and delivering babies.

How dare he tell you your testicular function is "nearly dead" on an email consultation?! that sucks. I've seen him do that before, threatening people with "no more sexual orgasm" when he's only got an email and the clients fear to trade on.

"Pressure massage for over ejaculation" has nothing to do with Arenos practice.

I have seen posts on his website where he recommends prostate massage for "explosive, earth shattering climax you not forget" too.

Caveat emptor!

Oh come on--he's one of the biggest and most hilarious charlatans on the Internet. About one tenth of his advice is genuine useful sexual advice that he ripped off from ancient tantric techniques, and the rest he just pulls out of his ass to sell his potions and nostrums and whatnot. He is very entertaining, but don't take anything he says seriously.

Thanks guys. That is somewhat reassuring. It's hard to get an honest opinion these days about what to do. Most of the time there's an agenda behind the advice. Still, my DHEA levels are off the charts, and I do think that either my prostate and testes or both aren't functioning up to par. I'm taking lots of prostate herbs now, and using the aneros (helix) 2x/week. I guess that's all I can do.

Zaneblue now really?!

Unless you trawl the sexual health sites like a
tourist how is one supposed to know that Dr. Lin is a fraud?

I wouldn't necessarily have known that and belittling people is not a very effective way to teach.

Travhealth has genuine concerns and his point about charlatans selling snake oil or fish oil or whatever is right on the mark.

There are way too many attention seekers out there posing as experts in areas that hold much personal meaning to genuine seekers.
Yet where is the proper research??
When people make claims about their products or ideas they should back it up with their true credentials and details of the size and nature of their control group.

Anyway at least this site is encouraging feedback from front line users - people who actually use or consider to buy the product and I must say the success rate here amongst the guys is more than impressive.

So, I'm going to shut up now as I've just taken delivery of my aneros and
will post when I've something constructive to say on this site specific
matter.

Oh, and for the record, I'm female. Well, I was last time I checked!

I'd be very interested indeed to know if there are any other female aneros users out there!?

Agate.

I'm sorry, I in no way meant to belittle travhealth in any way. Dr. Lin's website is rather hard to miss on search engines, so he is generally known. I certainly do mean to belittle Dr. Lin, however.

Unlike Dr. Lin, I am more than happy to supply medline references to support my recommendation of fish oil for female sexual dysfunction. There are no direct references, which I soon hope to remedy, as I am assisting in conducting a university double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study of fish oil on FSD. But I do have plenty of references showing the positive effect of high dopamine levels on female libido, and also many references showing omega-3 fatty acids raise dopamine levels.

High dopamine is also beneficial for men's sexual performance, but in my questing here I think I've been pretty clear in only suspecting that it might help with the Aneros experience, just extrapolating from women's experience.

Now, considering that you think I'm a smarty-pants posing as an expert, you probably won't take kindly to my curiosity, but I can't fathom how the Aneros would work for a woman. Neither stimulation of the prostate nor stimulation of the acupressure spot on the perineum would work for a woman. Unless I am misunderstanding and you bought it for a male partner.

I think for women the best way to get the female equivalent of the Super O is by developing the PC muscles using an exercise device. Women also have a sexual acupressure spot, but it is on the tailbone, down low.

Travhealth, if you have high DHEA and low testosterone perhaps your testosterone is converting to estrogen. What are your estrogen levels like? Can you see an endocrinologist or urologist?

zaneblue, I didn't take any offense at all to your reply. I am happy for all the info. I did realize every case study ended with taken his herbs, but I am much more curious than just looking for a quick pill fix, even if they are natural. I was using him for his opinion, and that's all I took it as. He may not be a physician, but I usually don't trust them either 🙂

Travhealth, if you have high DHEA and low testosterone perhaps your testosterone is converting to estrogen. What are your estrogen levels like? Can you see an endocrinologist or urologist?

I haven't seen an endocrinologist or a urologist (my health benefits haven't kicked in yet) but I bet that is happening. I was searching Dr Lin's website and came across the same hypothesis:
http://www.herballove.com/article.asp?art=409

A high testosterone level may force the liver to produce more aromatase to convert it into estrogen that grows your breast, belly, and hips, but shrink your penis. Translation, NOT GOOD.

I have always been rather skinny, but in the past year or so I have noticed my belly, hips, and chest have more fat than ever. Any recommendations?

Once again, thanks all.

Trav you're welcome (re earlier post, just noticed you posted whilst I was composing), I hope this thread keeps a few more people from being conned and scared.

I spent quite a bit of time studying his site when I first got into MMO methods & I really hated the experience, I even bought his CDROM a few years back, frankly it's terribly written, barely legible and written with the authority of one with absolute knowledge - this is a sure fire sign of a conman.
The best quote I ever heard about sex was on one of those discovery programmes. It was something like "we have barely scratched the surface of what is possible". So true.

Cheers Travhealth, take it easy mate & stick around, I have a cyst myself & had soreness around my left nut and vas deferens for years. I found that practising MMO methods (not the squeeze techniques, they made it worse - the real stuff such as key sound and aneros) has helped, actually within weeks of starting.

I used to have occasional but very unpleasant prostate symptoms following ejaculation on and off for years, since MMO I haven't had a single occurence.

Zane,

Thanks for the links on Lin,... it's high time somebody blew the whistle of this guy!

Trav, I strongly concurr with Zane's recommendation regarding being evaluated by a endocrinologist. The DIY method is great for many things, but at some point, if you really want to know what's going on, (and want to keep you sanity) you're going to have assemble some accurate data on yourself, which means getting some tests done. Thereafter you can best decide how to be treated. If you have a strong mistrust of traditional medicine, you might look into finding a Holistic doctor. I was lucky enough to find one that is an M.D. as well. This guy is great, his first line treatment is with dietary modification and nutritional supplementation, the secondary (and more as a last resort) are the traditional methods. Oh, and because he is an M.D. as well, the visits have been covered by my insurance.

Thanks multi and BF, very sound advice. Yes, I plan on finding an integrated doctor (only for the insurance; I won't take drugs or do surgery) once my benefits kick in. I'm also open to infrared therapy, anal ozone insufflation, acupressure, prostate and testicular herbs and homeopathics, and now ksmo, amygdala clicking, brainwave entrainment, but I'll need to research them a lot more.

Thanks again for everyones insight and sharing.
