Does the Peridise contribute to the same "rewiring" as other models?

Hi all,

I am curious as to whether or not the Peridise contributes to the same "rewiring" as other traditional models such as the Helix. It is not a standard prostate massager of course, but is it along similar enough lines that its use constitutes "progress" as commonly understood here? Or is it more of a side excursion that while enjoyable, does not bring us closer to goals we set with the traditional models in mind? I'd be very interested in hearing your opinions on this.

thats a good question. many on here report anywhere from pleasure to super O's using the peridise but im sure all of them are already rewired per say. IMO i would say its best to stay with a prostate massager to rewire mostly cause the prostate massagers and peridise operate differently. The peridise may not put enough pressure on the prostate to get the rewiring going? Just a guess.

Raskolnikov,
Welcome to the Aneros Forums.I am curious as to whether or not the Peridise contributes to the same "rewiring" as other traditional models such as the Helix. It is not a standard prostate massager of course, but is it along similar enough lines that its use constitutes "progress" as commonly understood here? The standard Aneros prostate massagers are designed to stimulate in three distinct erotic areas, those being :
1.) The Prostate (naturally)
2.) The Perineum (see Sweet Spot)
3.) The Anus

The Peridise model is designed to primarily stimulate the Anus which would include the short section of the anal canal and only the very bottom portion of the rectum. As such, use of these devices would contribute to your rewiring in a similar manner as if you were using the prostate massager, however, you would not be getting the full stimulation to the other two areas. IMHO, the Peridise models are an excellent way to introduce one into anal play without the learning being a diversion away from later prostate massage play.
Good Vibes to You !

@Raskolnikov,Welcome!
BTW, is your username related to your avatar and is that your pet?

We are all different and what worked for me may not work particularly well for you. That said, I am convinced that consistent use of the the two smaller Peridise models contributed significantly to my rewiring over a period of about two years.

Although I only rarely have what might be described as a super-O, I do find that I now have Anerosless P-waves every morning, without fail. For that the whole trip has been well worth the effort.

Good Luck and enjoy the journey!

Thank you rumel and Pommie for the warm welcome! I'm glad to be here. I started lurking here recently and was blown away by the knowledgeable & passionate people I found here. It's great to join up and be a part of it.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that the general answer is yes. I ask because while I own a Helix (primary) and Progasm (secondary), I was looking for something more comfortable to use outside of dedicated sessions with the Helix or Progasm. I ordered the Peridise complete set before creating this post (should get here tomorrow, yay), but just wanted to make sure I didn't take a step that would sidetrack me or serve as an unproductive distraction. I'm only a few weeks into the journey, but I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel. Very enjoyable already, and to think that it will only get better from here is truly wonderful.

@Pommie to answer your question about my username/avatar, all I can say is I wish. "Raskolnikov" is the main character in my favorite book Crime and Punishment, and the avatar is just a random painting of a dachshund with a popped collar I found on google, lol. I do plan on getting a dachshund of my own soon though... and now that you mention it, that may not be a bad name for him. "Raskolnikov." I like it.

@Raskolnikov,Ah! I see. My mother had a couple of "daxies" for pretty much all of her life. Caution that they are prone to partial paralysis in the lower back. Otherwise, they make delightful pets. Good luck!

Concerning the Peridise set, HIH suggests that you start with the largest one for a few weeks and then progress to the next smaller. I now find that I use the third largest (what I call "P3") and the smallest "P4" pretty much interchangeably. P3 gets an outing when I feel the need for a bit more 'body' but P4 is now the workhorse! The two larger ones became almost redundant after the first year or so with them.

Have fun!

Hi @Raskolnikov,

If you have been working with both Helix and Progasm, then you should be a natural with the Peridise.

I purchased both the Peridise Full Set and the Tempo at a discount from Amazon a week or so before Thanksgiving, and starting using both models in my sessions just after Thanksgiving. I fell in love with the rhythmic action of both these models. In fact, they worked on and toned my anal musculature in rhythmic autof**k action. This same rhythmic action carried over to my other Aneros models and transformed and enhanced my sessions at a much higher level.
