I was interested in using a condom with the aneros more so for cleanup reasons than pleasure. I was wondering how much easier is cleanup with a condom compared to without a condom?

I'd wash it anyway. Condoms have lubrication on them that I find to be kind of oily feeling sometimes, and I have to use soap to wash it off when I've used condoms on my sex toys in the past. Whatever is on the condom I would not want staying on my Aneros. But I never use a condom on Aneros toys. I tried the "Aneros in a condom" method once, where it's supposed to slide back and forth inside the condom and not create friction in your anal/rectal canal, but it didn't work for me and I never tried again.

I know clean up and being clean is a constant issue and source of worry for many Aneros users. In fact, I think it may be a huge block to men trying to have prostate orgasms. Do you try to move your bowels before sessions? Or, use an enema like a small bulb enema? I use the bulb enema and usually after just one small quick flush, I'm 100% clean and 100% worry free. A condom might not work perfectly with the lube you're using and prevent proper movement. Or, a condom might make for even more movement, which is really cool!

And by "synthetic version" you mean the Syn versions of Aneros? No, the condom is not replicating that feeling! The body of the Syn is not totally solid, it is part silicone and has some flexibility. The texture might be similar, but that soft silicone feel...there's nothing like it!! totally different thing

@Aneroserer No condoms for me either! After use, here is my cleaning routine: Wash with hot water and soap, Wipe with alcohol, Rinse with hot water and Dry with clean tissue. Works for me!
