Do Aneros sessions strengthen the PC muscle?

Hi guys,

For a good several months, I have been having a burning question on the PC muscle as it relates to the Aneros. Do you think that working with the Aneros or having regular Aneros sessions strengthens the PC muscle? The reason why I ask that I have a springiness that is so vital and vibrant in the muscles surrounding my awakened prostate. This sweet area is located just above my perineum and just beneath the bulb or root of my penis. Also somehow my testicles are involved in this quivering or vibrant "sweet area" just described. What do you think?

I'll post an earlier article on the same question which posted several days ago. Thanks!

Taken from the Wiki.

From the description, I would say indirectly

[h=2]Pelvic Floor muscles[/h]The Pelvic Floor muscles are a set of muscles that span the area beneath the pelvis, supporting the pelvic organs, primarily composed of the following groups:

  • anal sphincters The ring of muscles surrounding the anus. There are two rings, the outer and the inner. The outer is under voluntary control. The inner is not (it is controlled by the autonomic nervous system but can be trained to relax therapeutically with biofeedback). To identify this muscle, squeeze your anus as though you are holding back gas. This is the muscle that primarily drives the motion of the Aneros. There is another involuntary sphincter (Hirsch's sphincter) at the junction of the colon and rectum, but this is beyond the reach of your Aneros.
  • cremaster The muscle covering the testes that controls the raising and lowering of the scrotum. It works involuntarily in response to temperature (contracting when cold to bring the testicles closer to the body or relaxing when warm). In the process of male sexual arousal as a man approaches orgasm the cremaster muscles begin to contract pulling the testes up tight to the body prior to the onset of an orgasm and ejaculation. This is quite normal. There are some who believe that if one restrains this tightening action the onset of ejaculation is retarded. This is one of the motivations for use of Testicle cuffs in BDSM play.
  • pubococcygeus or more commonly called the PC muscle, one of a number of muscles in the pelvic floor. It is a hammock-like muscle, found in both sexes, that stretches from the pubic bone to the coccyx (tail bone) forming the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs. The PC muscle is largely involved in sexual response and contracting during orgasm. It is believed that strengthening leads to longer, more powerful orgasms. To identify this muscle, stop the flow during urination. This is the muscle exercised during Kegel's. This muscle also fine tunes your Aneros' movement at the prostate. For a more detailed description for performing Kegel exercises, please visit kegelexercisesformen.com.
  • rectal A group of the pelvic floor muscles that control the rectum. One of several muscle contractions that can control the movement of the Aneros. Rectal contractions result in a shortening of the rectum and are commonly thought of as being opposite (outward movement) to that of anal sphincter muscle (squeezing inward). Rectal contractions facilitate the opening of the anus during defecation. Some users have reported interesting sensations occurring as a result of the simultaneous use of anal and rectal contractions. Rectal contraction may be effected voluntarily and may occur involuntarily during ejaculatory and non-ejaculatory orgasms. Some users have discussed losing the Aneros during an orgasm when it is involuntarily thrust out of the rectum and anus on account of this kind of contraction. To identify this muscle, contract as if you bearing down to perform a bowel movement.

That website in the PC muscle description is very informative.. Here is some more information that furthers my guess that the devices indirectly strengthen the muscles by aiding the exercises...

Once you have become accustomed to tightening the muscle, Kegel exercises for men can be done anytime, anywhere. They require no special equipment, although several aids are available, including “Peristal” and the “Prostate Massager”.

Thank you for all this information, @Mostinteresting1!

The most wonderful thing is that now I notice a symbiotic relationship between my Aless and the Kegel Exercises. Now whenever I perform several Kegels, they accentuate or increase the sexual energy in my Aless which is so sweet and sublime. This in turns has enabled me to develop greater subtlety in my Aneros sessions.

Some users have reported interesting sensations occurring as a result of the simultaneous use of anal and rectal contractions.

These sensations are heightened for me, especially with the larger Progasm!

My observations...

As it has taken a number of months and many many sessions to become adept at developing an awareness of the sensations I was getting from my Aneros, and then to learn how to magnify them through synchronized breathing and mild contractions, so too did my PC muscles become both more adapted, and my awareness enhanced.

Only then did I sense that my PC muscles had become better able to help me make more subtle movements to increase the quality of my Aneros stimulation.

So while "strengthened" may be one way to describe the transformation of my PC muscles, I feel like its more about an adaptation of both the PC muscles and of my subconscious ability to effectively manipulate the Aneros to achieve nirvana!

And boy is it wonderful! My 3 hour blissful state yesterday, and my 90 minute state of incredible heavenly sensations this morning are my testaments to persistence and having faith in my body and the state of focused relaxation to give me such awesome experiences! I love this journey!

Hi @Mostinteresting1 and @Theme_Gasm,

All this is both so "sweet" and profound!

All I know is that my PC muscles over time have been strengthened by the larger or heavier Aneros models, such as Maximus, Tempo, and Progasm Classic, ICE, and now Progasm Ivory.

Earlier this evening I rode Progasm Classic for perhaps 45 minutes or longer, or perhaps I should say that the Progasm Classic rode me! It was wonderful to observe how my breathing and mild anal contractions in synchronized motion operated Progasm Classic. Now I am typing this in profound Aless bliss!

And @Theme_Gasm, are you describing above an Aneros session or Aless, or both? Just wondering. All the same, it sounds wonderful!

@Theme_Gasm, the Eupho Classic is the little engine that could or rather can! 😉

For me Kegels do the trick...particularly with an Aneros in place.

I find the Kegels particularly effective with the Progasm series of models. The Kegels are also effective just after an Aneros session and will send you into Aless orbit! 😉
