Hi, I'm starting learning with an aneros helyx syn, I have a few questions please
I have difficulty to feel my prostate, the most of the feelings comes from the tab that hit my skin.

Also, I'm using it every day for about 40 minutes to one hour an half, is it okay or it may damage my body?

I have another problem, it really doesn't move by itself. Sometimes it looks like start moving but it stop immediately.
What I do all the time is just tight the sphincter to let it move.

I do that laying on my back bending my knees so the plant of my foots touch the bed.

Thx for your attention and suggestions,

B

Newbie users often remark about limited feelings/sensations when they first start on their Aneros journey. This is normal as you are beginning to 'awaken' your prostate as you develop your muscles and mentally focus on the resultant subtle sensations, those sensations will grow in apparent intensity, but it is your mental focus on them that is key.

While you will not damage your body if you are using your Aneros properly there is some debate about optimal frequency (please see the user polls How frequently do you use your massager? & How long is just right to ride your Aneros? for details). Over use or trying too hard may create muscle soreness or desensitize your prostate. Putting a days space between sessions might be a good strategy as it gives you a chance to integrate with your mind what your body has to teach you.

No, it won't move by itself, movement is generated by the flexing of your pelvic floor muscles (please see Your Body > Pelvic Floor Muscles). Also, please see @Helghast 's thread A simple prostate orgasm tutorial. for a general discussion of the pelvic floor muscles, how to find & employ them toward prostate orgasm.

Beginning a Kegel exercise regime will pay big dividends. Please see @BigGlansDC 's thread Kegels do feel real good if you do them faithfully! and the threads Kegels Question, The Kegels do work! Especially with Aless!" and Kegel Workouts! for some words of wisdom on this exercise regime.

Good Vibes to You!

I am of a mind if your not feeling any pain or discomfort, go for it as often as you want. Like most people , myself included it takes a little time for you to recognize the senstions the tool is making, so the more you play the sooner it happens. I am of 2 minds when it comes to exercising, I read early on in the forum from a commentor that there is little need to exercise muscles you have been using your entire life, learning how to control them independantly is the key.Mindgasm is a very good resource for this. On the otherhand, kegal exercises are never a bad thing, and for alot of people here actively working your kegals during a session is what works for them.

I say I'm of 2 minds because, I am mostly a do nothing at all type. Recently I tried the maintain aan anchor which really helped me grow, funny thing is the growth I made anchored has attached it self to my do nothing at all approach. And anchoring helps when my do nothing starts to wane, if that makes sense.

You also need to get yourself into mentally, I like to fantasize I am actually getting laid, I can imagine hands on me, lips on my nipples, whatever turns you on, as I know what these feeling are like, its not hard to pretend there actually happening.  Also it removes you from over thinking what the aneros is doing to you, your body will take care of the rest. I wish some one would have explained this to me earlier. Make it a real fuck session, not something you do till you get the real thing, it is the real thing. Sorry if I went off topic had to write this down while it was in my mind.

Welcome!  HST is a great one to start with and own.  Don’t worry about not feeling the prostate today, because I think you already have good body awareness.  You’re aware of the tabs, which was something I didn’t feel much when starting out.  Keep doing what you’re doing.  Don’t fuss much about the motion of it, and your body parts internal and external at this point.  Your initial prostate stirring may happen to be a feeling you might first interpret as a little need to pee.  But try not to actively search for it, like a searchlight.  Cultivate a sort of receptivity to ambient feelings of any sort, magnitude and location; and a “whatever happens, happens” frame of reference.

A given position isn’t as important to success so much as it is a comfortable way to relax in.  Comfort first, so that subtle discomfort doesn’t come to be a distraction.  Your position is fine, and one I use often.  You may also like on your side as I do.  I’ll put it in, on my side, and remain there as long as I want until the mood strikes me to do reposition my body.

Post back whenever you like.

You are looking for something obvious, like a punch in the face. It’s more about feelings and pleasure being generated that you didn’t notice before, they start small and need to grow. It takes a little time for the brain to start building the neural pathways necessary to create a pleasure feedback loop.

No,it won’t damage you but it may leave musculature sore from over use.

No,lift all of pelvic floor. Hold at 20%-50% and keep there. Then contract sphincter and upper pc.

That's worth repeating, the idea that you're making love to yourself is not a new one, but it's super important to internalize. Just sticking it in and waiting for the orgasm is a much harder path... With this idea, you want to make yourself orgasm, you want to make your partner orgasm, but surprise, they're both the same person here. Take from yourself, and also give to yourself...
