Saw a different oil the other day and decided to give it a try. It's called Cocavo and is a mix of coconut and avocado oil. I like it! It's a bit thicker than straight coconut oil and has a nice smooth glide to it. My lube prep consists of pre-lube with a small ball of unrefined Shea butter, 2ml of oil injected, and a nice coating on each tool.

Where did you find it?  Is it a commercial product or did you see a recipe to concoct it yourself?

I got it at Walmart but can probably be found elsewhere.

Coconut oil makes a great lube, even by itself. Just remember that coconut oil breaks down silicone. I used coconut oil with 2 silicone coated, vibrating prostate massagers (neither one a brand name Aneros) and it seeped through the silicone killing the vibrators, as well as loosening the silicone coating from the more rigid core.

That's why I'm loving the Eupho Trident and Progasm Ice because there's no danger of that, and being non-porous plastic, no funky smells either after washing.

Though lately I've been using up a silicone based lube that my wife didn't find compatible to her internal plumbing, I always made coconut oil "suppositories". Just put about 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a ziploc sandwich bag, seal, work the oil to make a "log" at the bottom of the bag, then freeze until firm (I roll the baggie up from the bottom to try and preserve the "log" shape so it doesn't get distorted in shape when freezing it). To use, break off ~ 1 inch piece, insert slowly to lube well, then lube your Aneros and go at it (after a thorough flush of the rectum, the cold feels wonderful). I would advise that you not use too much, as you may inadvertently pass coconut oil if you fart later on.

Well damn! I didn't know that coconut oil could break down silicone. I've seen no evidence of breakdown yet on my syn models.

@reddog152

It takes a while. Everything was fantastic then the vibrating functions started to malfunction, eventually no vibration at all.

I loved the silicone "cushiness" but opted for plastic. If my sessions go longer than 3 hours I occasionally get a little tenderness but no complaints!

Attention @reddog152, I did a little research on this and it may be that other vibrators may not have been pure silicone and hence may have been subject to deterioration. I've been using coconut oil on my Aneros 'SYN' models for years with no noticeable changes. Please see the article Will Coconut Oil Hurt My Silicone Sex Toys?. I don't think members need be concerned about this alleged problem.

Good Vibes to You!

@reddog152

try making frozen suppositories of coconut oil - super convenient and the coolness really gets things going. I have had small orgasms from inserting it!

I currently chill the ball of Shea butter that I use. Not as messy and definitely a "cool" feeling.
