I just realised I've tried just about every model Aneros -except- the base-level products. The first one I ever got was the Progasm Ice. I completely passed over the MGX solely on the basis that "I've done big toys before, I can start higher up the ladder". I can't be the only one to do this, can I? Or the only one that said "Maybe I should start over, at the beginning this time"?

I've had proto-Super O's with the Progasm, but only once or twice out of hundreds of tries. Should I stick with it or start over with one of the new MGX Tridents?

NO, I'm sure you're not the first man to question this decision.

The Progasm series are the heavy hitters of the Aneros lineup and are not what I would suggest for first time users. While they are definitely more forceful in announcing their presence they are less responsive to the subtleties of muscular contractions. That being said you can still learn to use them to produce prostate based orgasms as long as you are committed to focusing on your own action/responses. A new device will provide slightly different physical sensations but it is your mental attitude and focus which will ultimately determine the successful path forward. IMHO, there will be no harm done in going back to what some would consider a 'beginners' model such as the MGX 'Trident', you may actually discover this model to be more responsive and stimulating than the Progasm you already have but there are no guarantees such will be the case. Your mental approach is really the more critical component of the entire Aneros journey. There is really no definitive answer to your question, it is totally up to you, if you believe it will improve your response then it probably will. If you believe it won't make much difference, then it probably won't.
Good Vibes to You !

I started w/ the helix classic and that was my only model for the first couple years of my aneros journey. Bought a maximus that I feel like was faulty since it was VERY tacky...it felt nothing like the helix classic that I already had. I then bought a full size progasm black ice which was amazing! Eventually I purchased the pro jr which was my goto for several years....More recently I bought a eupho trident which has done some amazing things for me!

I always thought the MGX was a "beginner model" and never gave it a second thought; I tied the MGX Trident a few months ago and it has been my go-to ever since. Don't underestimate any of the Aneros models until you have tried them.. The MGXT totally blew me out of the water,
