I just ordered the mgx and am really stoked about the whole thing. buuuuuut......in a lot of these posts i see that a lot of first timers are going straight to the helix. did i screw up in buying the mgx or should i just let time tell?

The MGX is a great choice. I enjoy mine so much that I often return to it. In fact, I had a heck of a ride last night with the MGX. It is a terrific model to start with before trying out the other units. Have fun!
