I feel this community might have more insight into the medical aspect of the "plumbing". Maybe this is aneros related, maybe someone here has experienced it before? It might be as easy as constipation due to an enlarged prostate..? Who knows..

Well, I guess I'm not in ready yet.. for walking into the docs office saying that I lube up three times a week and shove big but plugs up there called Aneros. And that he has to keep that in mind while exploring the options.

He'd probably send me home and tell me to come back in a week if it doesn't fix itself. And I really want to look at experiences from the community first. Its NOT normal what we do, so the medical profession doesn't have that in mind exploring the possible reasons. Like constipation due to enlarged prostate, and/or IBS (not IBD)

As for other people reading this, they need to do things their own way.. So please @anerico, don't make this thread about some hypothetical future reader! Thank you for your concern, now please exit this thread.

Severe gastroenteritis can cause this as can divericulitis. If it doesn't resolve itself in a few days get it checked. It is most likely unrelated to the aneros use. If you are uncomfortable discussing aneros use, just describe the symptoms.

@Alex_xxx I doubt highly that your progasm caused any of this. I have NEVER heard of any Aneros device causing any type of digestive problems (if anything they usually help) such as constipation. If you already had some problems it may have agitated them. A poor diet however over a long period of time will cause all sorts of digestive problems, about half of my family has had colon cancer at one point and time or another due to poor diet choices over their lifetime. You should visit your doctor as soon as possible. The fact that you are afraid to see him because you dont want to tell him about your Aneros use is ASININE!!!! Trust me when people come in with jelly jars stuck up their ass that is MUCH more embarrassing. Do you think this doctor does not know he see's gay patients who probably use anal toys all the time (not saying you are gay just saying doctors arent that naive...)??? You are not out of the ordinary and that is no reason to put your health at risk. If untreated it can lead to much worse scenarios. Just a thought as well, if you can find a doctor that uses holistic medicine more than likely you will get better results. As holistic doctors actually take into account the whole picture, they dont just send you home or out of the office with a bunch of meds or recommend a procedure that would insure them or the pharmaceutical companies some cash. They will take into account your aneros use, emotional state, etc...to ensure optimal health and your best overall well being. I feel they are better because I go to one after being screwed around by regular doctors. I'll never go back to a regular old western medicine nut as they dont really care about your health (at least most of them dont in my experience).

Smartest thing I've read all day. I've decided to give it a couple of days.. I agree that it might be one of those two. Especially the last one can make slime with blood leak into the anal canal.

Seeking immediate healthcare is ALSO advice from this forum. And why should one seek immediate healthcare if things are going better? It might be nothing. I don't see how an unnessecary coloskopy examination would help if its as simple as the Norovirus.

Hey, Alex. Sounds like nothing acutely serious has happened through the day as you're still posting here with no reference to significant symptoms like would have made you go to the doctor or to the emergency room already. I've PM'd you also, so get back with me on the questions I asked you.

Proper Aneros use will not cause the symptoms you've described and nothing you've related makes me think you have cancer or something really bad right now, so relax a bit. And relating to a doctor that you use an Aneros will help him or her none as what you experienced is not caused by Aneros use. Even a doctor's careful examination of your rectum and anus will show no sign that you use an anal toy, so don't get concerned about having to be embarrassed or "found out".

Get back with me on how you're doing. I'll be the first to tell you if you need to seek medical attention right away.

Almost certainly, what you are suffering is not Aneros related and is not relevant to what you need to tell your doctor. Just describe your symptoms and take it from there.

I didn't know a biology degree taught the one singular cause of constipation. I hate to surprise you but there are multiple causes of constipation, some quite serious and others benign. But you know it all, right pspot, I mean deva.

For the record biology degrees do not however you do study the digestive system very closely it takes up a lot of your course work. Anal toys is NOT one of the causes of constipation...and I am not @Pspotsquirter...if you would read the pegging thread you would see that i berated him and we fell out. I have suffered severe constipation as a child, thanks to the progasm ice (and subsequently the tempo) i was able to completely rid myself of these problems to such a great extent that every time i go to the bathroom i can clear myself completely out as if i had an enema. I went from going between 1 and 3 times a week to 2 - 5 times "a day".

Aneros use definitely helps or in my case heals constipation, it has also healed many peoples haemorrhoids.

Sorry to hear of this malady and have a 'partial feel' for what you are experiencing. First off, suggest you take @Slimjm up on his grace and offer to be alert to your symptoms/changes together with his advise to send you to either the ER or your Doc as he considers appropriate.

I am a IBS victim and have been wrapped about the capstan by it many times over the last 40 years. Mine is the "Alternating" version which resembles your symptoms however my extremes are milder than yours. If this is the case, you'll probably live through this with just fluids and the moderate diet that your own Doc and @slimjm suggests. Once you heal make a concerted to find your own way, looking at various combinations of Fiber, Fat, Carbs, Proteins and Aneros sessions. 🙂

My own experience, during my initial year dictated that I give up the luxury of most Waterbased lubes, most particularly anything with Glycerin.

I've also suffered one total bowel obstruction which brought me to the ER where they hooked me to a Morphine pump where I could self administer pain killing meds until the OR was ready to go. That malady was not a result of any anal play. A tiny blood clot had shut down 6 inches of my small intestine which died. Now, with a small intestine that's a foot shorter I go along with life as before. I've found the right combinations of foods to go along with a prescribed daily Aspirin. Punch line here is that you are not totally obstructed like I was and there are many maladies that can cause symptoms similar to yours.

Trust in @slimjm, your doc and your own judgment. Don't undertake any drugs, enemas, purgatives, cleanses and let yourself heal. You have a cheering squad right here. ....rook
