Hi everyone,
So I am completely new to Aneros, hence the title! Being a 27yr old virgin, sex is obviously new to me, leave alone having something up by butt, however, I'm pretty open to trying new things, so I bought the MGX.
I'd read it was good for beginners so that's why I made the purchase.
I've had about 5 sessions with it and safe to say I'm becoming accustomed to having it inside me pretty well.
I haven't really been getting the sensation everyone has been describing though, I wonder if that's just because I haven't necessarily been aroused enough, or I'm just not re-wired fully yet?
Anyway, I have been reading a lot on here and the wiki and definitely not giving in yet.
I'm looking forward to getting the P Waves and eventually the Super O.
I was wondering though, whether, being 6ft, the MGX could be missing my prostate which is why I'm not getting the sensations I should be?
If so, any recommendations for a different model?
I'm producing a fair amount of pre-cum during the session, so it would suggest it's hitting the spot (no pun intended).
Cheers
J
J_87,
Welcome to the Aneros Forums!
I haven't really been getting the sensation everyone has been describing though, I wonder if that's just because I haven't necessarily been aroused enough, or I'm just not re-wired fully yet?Patience young squire, your amazing journey has only just begun. Arousal is an important facet of the process, so before you begin your next Anerosession you may want to read the Are you "aroused"? thread. Sticking an Aneros massager into your rectum and expecting an orgasm almost immediately is a bit unrealistic. For most men learning to tune into their sensations is a paradigm shift in thinking and can take an indeterminate amount of time to really sense the changes. You will often hear the advice to be patient and this is well founded as many members will attest.I was wondering though, whether, being 6ft, the MGX could be missing my prostate which is why I'm not getting the sensations I should be?While it is possible the MGX is not precisely hitting your prostate the likelihood of that is low. Beware of setting yourself up for disappointment & failure by looking for "...should be..." sensations, everyone's response to these massagers is unique and different, allow yourself the freedom to enjoy the adventure unfettered by any "...should be..." thoughts. If so, any recommendations for a different model? The MGX was my first model and remains one of my favorites, it is an excellent model to learn with. While each model does have slightly different performance characteristics, thinking that jumping to another model will suddenly provide an explosive advance is probably a bit foolish. Success is more a matter of tuning into yourself than the device you use to massage your prostate. Give youself 20-30 sessions with the MGX before thinking about trying another model. I suspect this is all so new to you that assimilating all the sensations and understanding your body's response is a bit overwhelming. Again, pay attention, be patient and relax in your sessions.I'm producing a fair amount of pre-cum during the session, so it would suggest it's hitting the spot (no pun intended). No, actually pre-cum is the output from your Cowper's gland, which lies below the prostate and just inside the rectum near the inner anal sphincter. The movement of your Aneros does also stimulate this gland so what you have reported is completely normal.
P.S. I sent you an introductory conversation with some additional hints and tips to get you started here.
Good Vibes to You !
It's frustrating isn't it? @rumel gives some fantastic advice I would listen to him. As he says don't have too many expectations, although it sounds as if you have the right attitude. One thing I would add is that although arousal is important and can help greatly I wouldn't get hung up on that either because you can end up thinking 'I was really aroused and still nothing happened'. In other words don't analyse at all, just experiment with everything, enjoy it and be pleased with any small sensations. You are training your brain to recognise the sensations and then learning to amplify them using all the techniques you read about. (I often start completely unaroused and have a fantastic session, everyone is different)
Definitely don't give in something will click soon. Good luck and enjoy it, it's an amazing journey.
