Hi Guys,
I am supposed to go in for a colonoscope in a few weeks. Just routine, one of the rites of getting older I guess. Any advice on how long to abstain from Aneros use before the procedure?

O'shea,

Your Aneros use should have no impact on your colonoscopy appointment. (Perhaps you're thinking about the effect of colonoscopy on a PSA test ?) I will tell you this though, you're NOT going to be having any Aneros sessions the day before! LOL. The prep that you'll undergo will make that impossible. You're going to be visiting the bathroom quite a bit. This will give you a real perspective on how much material is stored in your colon!

OS,

Yes, I would go ahead and remove the Aneros before the procedure. They always break the biopsy forceps.
