You don't need an erection to enjoy the Aneros experience. A cock ring results in your focus being shifted to be cock centric whereas the focus should be prostate centric.

I think it necessary to distinguish between a "Cockring" and a "constriction band"

Fitted (fixed size metal bands) Cockrings are usually sized to provide a 'hint' of constriction. that feeling works more on the mental processes to support erection rather than blood entrapment which occurs after donning a silicone rubber or leather construction band.

@mypleasuerz87, there may be a problem with an elastic penis only cock rings that constricts blood leaving the erection. If session of series of orgasmic delights that lasts say 90 minutes the 'old man' may not be able to be resuscitated 🙁

You have to experiment and determine if you like it, how it feels, is it adding or subtracting from your overall session with Aneros, or is it shifting focus off prostate and zooming in too much on the penis and the ability to maintain an erection.
