Cleaning after use

ID Glide should be fine for both internal and Aneros lubrication. There is no need for more than about 5ml of internal lubrication. There has been and will probably continue to be much discussion about various lubes one might use. I would recommend you read the Lubrication section of the WIKI for more information. With regard to internal lube cleanup : The water based lubes gradually are absorbed through the rectal lining into the bloodstream where the soluble compounds are processed through the liver and kidneys to be broken down and excreted through the urine. The oil based lubes are likewise partially absorbed but are also excreted out with your next bowel movement. As long as you keep the lubrication to a minimum amount, no rectal flushing after Aneros usage is needed.

I only clean the entrance after use, but of course, I thoroughly
clean my Aneros unit with hot soap and water!
