Very interesting comment, Badger. Seems as if our sex/guilt stuff may be a "Victorian" overlay.

Maybe it was from women asserting control over their bodies. Fear of pregnancy, looking for more responsibility from men re sexual consequences that generally females had to carry, including death in child birth. My partner says in her teens (before the pill) pregnancy was an incredible fear. It would destroy a girls future.

@isvara and @Badger, both my parents came from Victorian families and their sexual upbringing or lack thereof was Victorian. My dad grew up on a dairy farm. He was clueless of the facts of life. It took a farmhand who showed my dad how to masturbate at age 16.

My parents, especially my mother, tried with their whole might to impose Victorian strictures upon me during my adolescence. They even enlisted the help of my personal physician, a homophobic and uptight doctor who had just retired from the U.S. Navy. The doctor infused me with guilt over my masturbation practices. In fact, the guilt I suffered made me physically sick. But I was determined to free myself of such guilt. Going six hundred miles away to college was one of the best things that happened to me.

Speaking of sexual license, the Puritans in New England were well known of their practice of bundling.

As regards religious practice (in my case, Christianity) and my Aneros session, each has its proper place. The Aneros with its health-promoting effects has enhanced my religious belief at a deep level.

However, my religious belief is an extremely private matter here in secular Washington, DC. I do believe fervently in the power of intercessory prayer. BigGlandsDC, perhaps alter the prayer to a more powerful form of thanksgiving that the Black Ice has been sold. Then be patient and allow it to happen. Perhaps alter the posts to reflect the fantastic totally new Ice you have available.
If I remember correctly from time to time there have been folk seeking a reduced price Aneros in this forum.

Hi @isvara, I shall take your advice in altering my pleading prayers to one of thanksgiving that both Black Ices have been sold. I will endeavor to be patient and let it happen. Prospective buyers looking for Progasm Ice at bargain prices are coming my way right now!

From my studies in Sects and Cults in Sunday School from my younger days, bundling, I believe, was predominantly utilized by the Amish, who have some very odd courting mores. I find it incredulous, DC, that your dad and the Amish, who were around farm animals all the time and involved with the husbandry of such animals, would be so ignorant and naive about sex, but amazingly, they were, and still are.

I remember hearing about a young Amish couple who had been married for several years, and had no children yet. A trusted modern doctor was called in, and he discovered that they'd never had sex; they had absolutely no clue how to make babies!

@Badger, I did not think "conditioning" could be so strong that it could over come physiology. Wow that is scary!!
