I have discovered an easy syringe solution for the rectal lube application. I purchased a plastic syringe to help administer liquid medications too young children. I paid $2.00. It has a short plastic tip. I then purchased a few feet of small plastic tubing for 20 cents a foot. I cut that into 3 inch pieces. I insert one of these pieces to the end of the syringe each time I use my aneros and throw it away. No mess.

I've had poor success duplicating what you've done. Interested to know more about it.

What are the specs on that plastic tubing, e.g. material, inner/outer diameter?

Clear vinyl tubing has good rigidity, but it's not easy to get a clean cut with no sharp edges. it's not readily available in a size small enough to push onto a luer-slip syringe tip.

Polyethylene tubing is way stiff, and again, a useful diameter isn't an off-the-shelf retail item.

Latex tubing is super pliable, but has no rigidity. It's like trying to push a piece of cooked spaghetti into my butthole.
