CBD suppositories?

I've seen them for sale, marketed as an alternative to poppers. Since Super O is a mostly mental thing, I'm not sure this would be helpful, and I never really got much out of CBD oil in the first place, no matter how it got inside me. But I figure it doesn't hurt to ask, anyone here tried something like this for a session?

Haven't tried the only CBD versions. There are a couple of cannabis suppliers that make suppositories that pack a pretty potent THC cargo as well. The suppositories are basically THC infused coconut butter and are difficult for me at least to get in before they melt. THC infused liquid (pretty much just an oily tincture) is also available and I have added that to via a normal lube shooter. I also have tried THC infused Shea butter that I allowed to melt and then added to a lube shooter. From what I read online (not that much available) the bioavailability is much higher in rectal dosage and the effects are felt much faster. Virtually no "head high" but that area definitely feels warmer than normal and much more relaxed- I can take bigger toys with less struggle. Still experimenting but at this point it doesn't seem to give me the same effects as the sublingual tinctures that I love. THC moves the decimal point on my Aneros sessions but I'm not sure that getting my ass high works as well as getting the rest of me high. YMMV

I'm in a state that just very recently rejected yet another medical marijuana bill, so CBD is all I can get. And it does nothing for me. At least not orally. Some things are broken down by stomach acid and that may be one.

I have used suppositories that I make myself out of thc infused coconut oil on several occasions and found that for me they do nothing other than provide some lube. I have read quite a bit about this topic and what I read (and confirm with my own use) is that you don't get any high (head or body) from a suppository.
I wanted this method to work so badly as it kills two birds with one stone but it's just not in the cards. There are some posts on the forum about guys getting a wicked buzz from doing this but I'm thinking it's more of a placebo effect.
I don't see how a CBD suppository would be any different?

I have tried CBD orally too with no effect. I found a study that suggest that CBD enhances the postive effects of THC, thus making it worthless taken alone ...

that's interesting that you would find a study that claims that.... anything I have ever read about CBD is that it reduces the effects of THC
That's why a product with equal amounts of CBD and THC will give you practically no buzz. I have read that taking CBD is a remedy for taking too much THC and greening out

I smoked THC this summer, and had incredible sessions that were nothing like sober sessions. They weren't better, per se, but they did start full steam right out the gate, and took me places I had never been. I would do it more often, but I truly dislike certain effects of THC, because it makes my mind very busy and paranoid, preventing me from doing anything, including sleeping.

I saw THC-free weed (so only CBD) for sale a couple months ago so I gave it a try. It did absolutely nothing for me, compared to the THC, in terms of altering my session (or my consciousness). CBD suppositories are surely more direct... Maybe I will try one out when I come across them, but I don't have any expectations, seeing my previous experience with CBD.
