So ive had my helix for a little over 4 months now and ive really come a long way since day 1. Lately, my problem has been tensing up when i start to feel strong p waves. Usually to get it moving and to get the p waves started I use a light sphincter contraction. This works well until the p waves get stronger and my lower body and pc muscles start to tense up which makes the toy stop moving and kills all the feelings. Ive tried relaxing and taking my mind off what's going on but I still tense up and cant build up to anything more. Also ive tried the do nothing method and that has not worked well for me. Im really trying not to force it and let it happen but obviously something is holding me back. If anyone has any tips I would love to hear them!

@AlessLover One thing I've learned is not to "steer" my Aneros sessions in any given direction; they are all different. I get the sense that you may be trying too hard for results. I also have experienced that "tensing" after the p-waves start. My suggestion? Don't fight the feeling. That tensing may be just the start of something much bigger. Try to tune-into the sensations you are feeling and just build on it. Don't think that just because you can't feel it doesn't mean that nothing is happening inside your body. If you feel like breathing more or want to move-around to a different position or if anything feels like it wants to "spasm", let it happen! Just keep practicing your regular sessions. Good luck!

Yes @goldenboy he knows what's up!! I also tense up extremely hard but I have absolutely zero control over it. I have actually tried to relax the tensing up by focusing on the muscles doing it, but I can't make it stop. When my sphincters finally decide they've had enough and the toy starts to move again, that relaxing almost always triggers a really nice dry O or sometimes a super O. Just keep riding those "tensing up" moments and let them come and go, but pay lots of attention to what happens after the tense muscles relax. Does the toy move on its own after that? Do you crave the tension starting up again?

I used to think this tensing up uncontrollably was a bad thing, until I let my body do what it wanted and it led to enormous orgasms.

You say the tense up act "kills all the feelings." But it's happening as a result of the P-waves; the waves led up to that tension. Usually for me the toys start to autofuck me and each time it goes in the feeling is a little more delicious than the previous thrust. I liken this to the sensation of fucking a pussy when you're at like an 8 or 9 out of 10 to orgasm/ejaculation: each thrust into her lets you know that you are one less thrust away from cumming. These involuntary contractions in my ass make the Aneros feel like that, in fact I sometimes imagine the toy is a cock that is trying to make my ass have an orgasm, or something like that. Try to think of the Aneros as not just a piece of plastic but something that is creating a reflexive sensory loop between your mind, your body and the toy. As I'm being autoF'd by my toy, it feels like, to me, the toy is going to cum soon, and I think this because it feels like my ass is going to cum soon, and I know that that "cock" is going to ram itself into me as hard and as deep as it can go and my ass is NOT going to let go of it. I'm on the edge of a literal meltdown as I reel from this tensing, locking sensation, hoping it ends soon. But I realize that the toy is in a very special place and contacting a very special gland in my body, and if this keeps going, I might have an orgasm. I never expect it; sometimes this tension does not lead to or create an O. But when it does, OMG it's a very wonderful, sublime, relaxing, almost full-body O! In fact, my dry Os are usually calmer and more subdued than the involuntary contraction fucking of the Aneros. Sometimes the Aneros is "fucking the shit out of me" uncontrollably and it's a wild ride. But all that pumping and thrusting leads to climax and resolution. When your cock orgasms/ejaculates, you're usually moving/stroking/etc. less than the lead up to your O/ejac. I used to think that the "super O" was just as wild and fast as the autofucking the Aneros does, so when all that frenetic moving didn't lead up to a super O, I never thought I'd have one. Then, 10 years after I started using Aneros, I finally gave in and realized that my prostate has an orgasm and my cock has an orgasm and they both come from the same place, the prostate. Realizing that led to my first super O and hundreds of dry Os after that.

Do not think of the sensations the Aneros invokes as being something you "need to break past" or that these actions are "holding you back." Nothing is holding you back physically. Let the toy do its work. Let your body become subdued by this device. Enjoy whatever comes your way. Don't force anything. Become consumed with the energy and warmth. Let the tension work itself out naturally. Lastly, if the tension subsides and you feel "relaxed" and the toy is moving/autofucking you on its own and you know you aren't doing it, it's probably an orgasm...at least that's how mine are 😉
