So the first couple of times it was OK to get to fit, then I guess I was to rough. Now I've gotten to the point where I always tear a bit inside when inserting it. Even when i stretch using a finger first, lube up - ALOT, and use a long time fitting it. After the last time I decided enough is enough. The tear must have been big, because I had been dripping blood down the bedsheets. Not fun at all.. although, after the tear you don't feel it.

The funny thing is I could fit alot bigger things when I was younger. Maybe all the contractions have made me tighter? I don't really know and I can't figure it out. Either that or maybe regular tearing has made me unable to stretch.

Anyways, I've decided to buy an inflatable butt plug for stretching so that I can accomodate the progasm again. Anyone tried this one?

Maybe you need smaller devices in general? Sounds risky

@Alex_xxx, I was having difficulties with Progasm Ice. I have eased up with the Kegels and now lcontract the BC muscle and not the PC. Also I have some BPH. With advice from the Forum I changed the angle of insertion. The Ptab is touching the perineum as the P-I's point gets to the inner sphincter. It appears that the inner sphincter has shifted its location slightly so the old angle of insertion is a no go.
Using the P-I is very important for me as regular use soften the prostate and enables easy urination during the day as well heaps of mini contraction in the session. BPH is a problem for many, I believe this may change the angle of the sphincter opening.
none of the above may be useful. The bleeding has not happened to me, though it is a tight fit.

I think the problem is with the angle of the shaped point of the program. I have a rounded end electrode that is only marginally narrower and I have no problem with that.
It may mean that instead of the point finding its way in the broad side end is being pushed through - ouch

@Alex_xxx Try putting it in sideways first off until you get part way in then turn in around for the second bit. That should help get it in without problems.Maybe you have scar tissue and you need to give it a rest for a month to get better.

Have you tried putting it in backwards all the way then turning it slowly around the right way.

How often do you use the Aneros? I don't think you should use every day, especially not the Progasm. The ksmo is handy in that regard.
But if there is any doubt at least you can show you're an ass-virgin when the big night comes

Well, scar tissue might be right. I also feel tighter around the rest of the models. Been using aneros about 2-3times a week. BPH might also be correct. Maybe BPH is a part of the progress which makes it easier to feel smaller models?
I'm out of ideas. Either stretch or lay of.. I dunno..

Apart from medical advice or action suggested in the next two posts. I have edited the following. For Future ReferenceFor me the Progasm-Ice of centred end point causes problems if the inner sphincter is an any way realigned. I tested this last night. There is no way I can get it in with a normal angle. I absolutely have to place the PTab against the perineum before the forward angled tip aligns with the inner sphincter opening. Then I find it very helpful if I push with the inner sphincter against the P-I and this opens the entry and the sphincter then sort of pulls the P-I in. In this way I am not pushing the PI against the sphincter which in effect closes the sphincter.
I also have trouble with the ElectraStim Quadri-Polar Noir Sirius Prostate Massager for the same reason though narrower the off centre point is at the wrong angle and the point is out of alignment.

Don't stick anything up there for a few months, as it sounds like an anal fissure. The tear and heal cycle only tightens the sphincter, so any sort of stress (including passing stool) can drag you back to square one.

This is largely what I'm going through right now and it's crap; even after a good month of no Aneros usage my ass still hurts during lavatory business. The butt plug might help, but I think the use of ointment is more important as again, even after healing the problems remains that the sphincter is tight. It's similar to phimosis.

I wouldn't stretch it. Sounds like a fissure and that could make it worse. I would actually see a doctor to confirm what it is then you can get some topical GTN or calcium channel blocker (both of which relax the sphincter). I treat these and they can be very difficult and chronic needing botox or surgery if topical treatment doesn't work, so I wouldn't risk making it worse by stretching if it is a tear.

Thanks @smudgefish for the heads up, I will now be extra careful myself.

Hmm.. I had an anal fissure when I was young that constantly tore and itched like crazy. I fixed it with Tea Tree Ointment/Salvae.

This seems to heal between tears, but I might be wrong. Gonna lay off it for a month or two. Damnit, I just ordered the maximus because I thought progasm was just simply to big 🙂

Oh well you will enjoy maximus on your return. You certainly have not wasted your money, its a keeper.

You could go to the doc and just say you bleed after taking a dump. no need to mention any toy use.

I'm not sure I can even take this seriously that you can somehow tear open your anus by using a Progasm so I'm probably playing into your hands but it has put me off using the Progasm,so if there's anything at all you hoped to accomplish by mentioning this on the forum....?

@Ehm, don't let this thread disturb your peace. I think @Alex_xxx has a pre-existing condition that has flared up. I still believe that the angle of insertion is critical with models that are large with non spherical heads.

@ehm
Sharing my experience might get me feedback from others experiencing the same. Sure, it tears.. But doesn't hurt alk that much. It is still me pushing it through and tearing it. Bleeding is just an indicator of the tear.

Just want to hear if someone has "solved" this before me, and how.

I have found that rubbing a condom on the Progasm, as well as when using some other "big" toys that I have, always does the trick. It gets all slippery enough to insert them, without any problems. The very first time I tried the Progasm, it hurted, somewhat, and had to take some Ibuprofen the next morning, as I had a very strong pain going from my anus to my back. But now that I've been using it for almost 2 weeks, I no longer experience any kind of pain or discomfort at all. But, I don't use it everyday, though. Too much can really be unhealthy and painful.
My suggestion would be first to take care of any problems, like hemorrhoids, scar tissue, and anal fissures/irritations you might have (when I had really bad IBS, 4 years ago, I would get these "nasty" things quite very often, along with general stomach upsets and cramping, and they were all a nightmare to live with. So I know how you must feel, right now).
Then, when you're all ok and well, try to insert a well-lubed up dildo-shaped object first (it can be a cucumber, a zucchini or a banana, if you don't have any other anal toy with the shape of a dildo), to let the sphincter dilate and relax enough to accomodate the Progasm, and then rub the Progasm in a condom, and try use it that way and see how it feels.
For the rest, if condoms are not an option for you, try also to stick to oil-based lubes (even extra-virgin olive-oil will do....and its probably the most recommended, as it is all natural), as they don't rinse very easily, as water-based lubes tend to do, and they assure you easy inserting, much like condoms do.
Hope you're going to have more fun, again, with your Progasm.

Old, old topic revival (sorry!) but this point stands out.I found anal fissures in particular can be hugely problematic because even if they heal, the ass constricts and tightens as a result. For anywhere else that's not particularly an issue, but when it's an area that has to stretch then a vicious snowball effect can begin.
That's not factoring in sudden, random infections or irritations either, which can also cause inflammation. I suffer from "Idiophatic Pruritus Ani" — unknown anal itching. Next to that is phimosis. Both are similar in that they can randomly come back despite seemingly disappearing. (Unless one undergoes surgery)
