Can you lose traditional way or orgasming once rewiring is complete?

I have been using the aneros for a year and half and have yet to get a dry o or super o. I masturbate frequently and have tried to cut way back on masturbation to orgasm in an attempt to get the ever elusive prostate orgasm. I have been making good progress with the aneros and during a session I get very good feelings down there almost where it feels like something is building to a big orgasm that never comes . Rewiring must be taking place, however lately whenever having intercourse I am having a hard time ejaculating unless my wife rubs my prostate or Perineium. Is this a permanent thing that happens once we rewire?
