Had anyone noticed whether meds for anxiety or depression lessen the ability to have prostate orgasm? I have no trouble ejaculating, but non-penile stimulation seems dull, even though I can tell the aneros is rubbing my prostate. I suspect my meds might be a factor, but that's only a hunch.

Yes, definitely I was on Prozac and another I forget the name of both SSRI's and they screwed my orgasms up. Penis numbness, approaching  PONR just stopped then restarted, delayed ejaculation, just generally very unsatisfying never seemed to get relief. I wasn't as focussed on my prostate in those days but I have no doubt they would affect that. Stopped taking them as the benefit never seemed to be enough and masturbation is very important to me. Hope that helps

I could never say for myself because I have never taken any of them, but I know SSRIs can wreck sexual desire and response. I bet they have caused many a divorce because of the resulting sexless marriage.

There are all sorts of hidden factors. But sweating about it doesn't help either, because it can become self-limiting like a negative affirmation.
A way I've figured how to get back to basics, is to just approach the session as a simple prostate massage, which is relieving and relaxing in its own right. Like if you didn't ever intend to have an orgasm from using the aneros, what would you still like about it?
This might help to take the pressure off, and allow you to recalibrate. Which I've found myself needing to do many times over the years.

Being totally relaxed and focused on the prostate and subtle twinges and twitches helps once you’ve been rewired. I’m on a few meds and don’t get totally hard like i used to but still masturbate and enjoy anal/prostate stimulation as well as Aless
