So I've had this happen 3 times so far: arousal builds quite a bit and then what feels like a normal orgasm shows up, but instead of 0 to climax in just a few seconds like a normal ejaculatory orgasm, it builds slower and lasts much longer, but is not as intense. Still feels really good though.

The first two times this happened, I just let go and relaxed into it and ended up ejaculating. However, it didn't feel like I lost all my arousal compared to a normal O. The third time this happened, I was quite cautious. I used my pc muscles to sort of ride it out. I can't remember how long this went on for but it could have been as long as 30 seconds. My arousal went down after this to the point that I was happy to stop. However, I did not experience any of the post ejaculation hangover I usually get.

Since this last time (two days ago) I've felt a very faint, but pleasant, sensation in my prostate area from time to time. I'm looking forward to my next session more than in the past.

My question from all this is is it normal to have to consciously stave off ejaculation from an aneros induced orgasm or is that something that one should be able to get past in the future? Also, I know there's a lot of different names for different prostate pleasure on here, by my description what would mine be classified as?

First, we need to be careful about using the term 'normal', what is normal for you may be atypical for others. Body response from prostate stimulation can be quite varied and still be considered within the normal range of experiences. Some men never experience an ejaculatory response yet desire to do so. Other men, like yourself, seem to easily obtain HFWO's from their Aneros use. I don't know if there is a definitive reason for this phenomenon but here are a few threads which discuss techniques others have used to address the situation, perhaps they may help you sort this out for yourself. Please see How to avoid ejaculation?, How to avoid handsfree wet orgasms , Avoiding ejaculation during orgasm? , Hands free ejaculation being an obstacle & Cumming while lying face down. It is impossible to predict how your body will react in the future as you continue to progress with your Aneros devices but understand this, this journey is an evolutionary process, it will change over time.

A Prostate Orgasm, there is little point in trying to classify these experiences, except for you to classify your own, from your own criteria, from your own experience. It is a personal journey and for each man a singularly unique one.

Good Vibes to You!
