Hey all, I've been experimenting / broadening my relaxation method and sort of stumbled across a combo that also fosters a spark of arousal as well! Though I'd share... its my new "mantra" and I call it:

"find the flame, focus on the flame"

I think I feel into the "I can make this happen" trap last year and short-circuited my rewiring (I'm year into the journey).

So I'm going back to basics to focus more on relaxing during an Aneros session (getting back to "do nothing") yet ensuring "arousal" (physical and mental). If i "just" crawl into bed and close my eyes there's a good chance I'm simply going to fall asleep - lol... rather than do that, I'm aiming for a more relaxed yet aroused state. I'm also going for the Eupho for a less-full feeling... bigger models tend to transition into my body yelling "there is too much stuff in here" quicker, while my body never seems to get tired of the eupho, which allows me to be patient.

I start out breathing normal to relax and lower my heart rate and let everything adjust (Aneros already in) - literally, "do nothing"
When I feel relaxed I start to inhale deeply, filling my gut.
I then hold it for 3 seconds sometimes I throw a 3 second (very light) kegle in there as well.
I then exhale slowly expelling as much air as I can.

I don't do this long maybe 5-10 cycles - just until I begin to get a tingle in the prostate/perineum (the flame). From there I fall back into regular breathing (do nothing) and focus on the tickle (flame) and that's it - if anything is to happen, I don't want it to happen because of something "I did" (the trap I think I fell in).

I *think* the full gut + kegle (plus the Aneros), does a nice little "hello, there wake up prostate" thing.
I also *think* the full inhale rolls my pelvis back just a wee bit and the full exhale rolls it forward just a bit... and that subtle rocking has helped me in the past.

If I do too much it feels like "I'm trying to make it happen" (bad - I don't want that). Usually once I feel that tingle I completely forget about kegels and any kind of breathing technique.

Last night I was rewarded with auto-f***ing, and a few contractions without forcing it or "trying". Honestly this was the best response I've had in nine months (so for me that's very encouraging). But its not always that - other times I still fall off to sleep... but at this point I don't care... I'm happy with what I get: either a nice nap or a nice ride.

Your millage may vary, but I thought I'd share!

When you experience peaks and valleys always let the peak come to you like pushing someone on a swing.
