Does anybody use these before a session to help relax or calm they're nerves? I know some people use weed but I'd rather try Benadryl. Would it make a difference or help? Anybody know first hand?

all i know is that i use Benadryl to help me fall asleep on long plane trips. (50 mg). Half that might be calming, but I don't have any experience with riding.

Prostate-wise I'm sensitive to any antihistamine (including some that involve just a whiff from a small inhaler. YMMV.
