In my opinion, the MGX would be a great choice for a first Aneros model! (I always recommend the MGX or the Helix)

Although the MGX is a good general "starter" unit, (and you probably couldn't go wrong with it), the SGX was indeed designed for men of your experience and stature. It is slightly shorter in length and smaller in girth than the MGX. According to the manufacturer, a person's height has a relationship to the distance from their anal opening to the prostate.....hence the SGX's is slightly shorter.
