I've just ordered my first aneros, the helix, and am quite excited yet hesitant. I haven't recieved it yet (just bought it last night. I've never explored this part of me, but I am quite hopeful it is all that I've read it could be.
Are there any exercises I could do to prepare myself for the prostate pleasure? Should I at least try to get a super O without the aneros first? How do you do that? Or should I use the aneros, then try attaining a super O without it? Are there any benefits of trying to get a super O without aneros first, or does it matter?

I also have another question, not about me but my girlfriend. She is against vibrators and dildos, but doesn't mind me using aneros. She knows its for prostate health and for pleasure. Does anyone know any products for her, a subtle non vibrating hands free dildo, maybe a vageros? 🙂 I heard about those chinese egg things, but I forget what they are called. I know this forum is about men, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

And thanks for all your sharing. Love this forum! Wish me luck!

I don't have any answers for your g/f other than she could pick up something to help her exercise her kegal muscles. There are a couple of devices. out there for this.

To prepare your self you can do a number of things. When you are taking a piss, flex and attempt to stop peeing half-way through. Keep trying that. Or keep flexing the muscles you use to hold "#2" in if you know what I mean. Either way to me it seems the same.

Have you begun "digitally" exploring "back there"? It will get you use to something going in rather then the output process you are use to. If you haven't, start slow, very slow and use plenty of lube. I have gotten super "O" years ago before without the aid of aneros. It was mind blowing.

Nlr420,
Thanks for your insight. I've been flexing my pc muscles alone and when urinating, but I haven't digitally explored myself, and am having a hard time getting the courage to. I bought the helix and a syringe yesterday and am hoping I can relax enough to explore myself with them without ever using my fingers. Lots of lube and patience hopefully will do the trick.

Congratulations on achieving the Super "O", and even more so for achieving it without the aneros! Please tell me more about that experience. What was your mindset? Was you breathing focused or natural? What position were you in? How long did it take? How long did it last? That experience must have helped achieving the Super "O" with the aneros. What model do you use? Thanks.

I know quite a bit about sex toys for women. There's nothing that corresponds exactly to the Aneros. You are thinking of ben wa balls. I have a large collection of different types of those. However, they don't do much for women unless the women have excellent PC muscle tone and are vaginally orgasmic. To get her on the path to having excellent PC muscle tone and vaginal orgasm ability, the best thing to get her is the Gyneflex device. However, that is a simple exercise device, sort of a Nautilus device for the vagina. Not very much fun. A Kegelcisor is not as effective as the Gyneflex for developing tone, but on the other hand it can be used as dildo. It's a pound of stainless steel, feels quite nice inside. Pricey though, the Gyneflex is half the price. Your call.

travhealth,

The mind set is important. If you expect to get get super "O" within the hour of taking out of the box, this is not for you. It's something you must learn. My mind set was just concentrating on flexing the muscles down there so The Helix would rub the right pleasurable spots (I had to experiment with a number of postions to find the right ones).

So far laying on my back with my legs resting on the couch seems to work the best for me. so does kneeling. Other people swear by laying on their sides. In the begining I got frustrated with the breathing exercises because I have trouble keeping beat.

Concentrate on the pleasure the pleasure when you flex the aneros in and just keep doing that over and over. You don't have to digitally explore your self but it does help.

Nlr420,

Thanks for sharing your experience and what positions the Helix best works for you. I have read a lot about super-O's while using the aneros, but very little details about super-O's or even any prostate pleasure attained without anything but breathing and flexing. This phenomenon amazes me, and I'm sure would also make my experience with the aneros even more rewarding.

When trying to obtain a super-O without aneros, does it matter what position you're in? Relaxed or focused breathing? What mindset or mental images? How long did it take to achieve a super-O that way, and how long did the super-O last? Where did you flex most and how hard?

Thanks once again for all your invaluable sharing.

Travheatlth,

I believe what you’re referring to is what I fondly describe as the ”a cappella experience”……getting there by thought process alone! I’ve been meaning to do an extended post on this or perhaps start a new thread, but haven’t gotten ‘round to it yet.

In brief, my technique, involves developing a sense memory of the Super O itself and focusing on it, (with the support of breathing and contractions). So it requires that one has already experienced the Super O to get there. I’m currently exploring some alternative methods, such as “amygdala clicking” as has been described by Pan, that might be used to the same end without any prior knowledge of the Super O. More to come soon.
