There's a classic post by @rumel on identifying obstacles that I think is a must read for everyone, regardless of experience level :

https://community.aneros.com/community/general-discussion/identifying-obstacles-to-progress/#post-41932

I was musing on that post today and remembering some obstacles on my journey, and the ways I tried to climb over them, push them away or go trough them, with various results. I did some visualization work and ended up with this :

Imagine there is a big heavy wooden door. Pleasure is on the other side, trying to open the door and pass through to flood your mind. There are several padlocks on the door, some big and some small. You know that you do not have to remove ALL the locks, because the pleasure is strong and can break some of the smaller locks when there are only 3 or 4 left. But you do have to open the bigger, heavier locks.

So, what are the big locks, what are the small ones, and what is on your key ring ? What key would you like to find ? Do you have a key that open several locks ? What locks can you "skip" ? And thinking about it, how many different doors can you find in you mind ? Is there a tiny one with a "P-Wave" sign on it and only three locks, and a huge one marked Super-O with hundreds of locks ? Why ?

For example "Butt play is disgusting" is a seriously big lock that you need to crack right at the beginning in order to get anywhere. "Arousal before a session" on the other end is negociable for me if everything else is right.  I put so much padding under the P-Tab to be comfortable that "Sweet Spot" is a non-issue for me in reaching the Super-O, but it's super important for some people. "Comfort" is one of the biggest one and I'm always working on it, sometimes I'll get a great session laying naked on a hardwood floor, other times I need a bed, foam wedges and pillows to unlock it.

So what locks are you trying to crack today ? Which ones are eluding you ?

A wandering mind is a huge distraction and mood killer. There are so many things that fill our minds that don’t serve us well during sessions. I’ve found binaural beats really help with focus and keeping my mind clear of distracting thoughts. It’s really amazing the “zone” I can get in. Specifically I listen to the Complete Brainwave Therapy System on Amazon music. A good subwoofer is a must!

Been at P Play for 9 months now.

1. To start with deep arousal.  Not being deeply aroused will cause my mind to wonder.

2. With a wondering mind and lack of focus,  I miss small sensations that could of been a great amplifier to carefully reach orgasm.

3. When P waves are going and an impending orgasm is coming, trying to stay relaxed & not tense up. I'll lose it sometimes when this happens.

4. And of course, during a session I feel the sign of a coming bowel movement.  Session over !!!

I found a trick around this that works for me.

Have you considered that using the bathroom (or relubing/getting a blanket/other "interuptions") might be "part of the session" or an adjustment during you session and not the end ? I have a little mental script that I use, and mostly i can convince myself to pause, go to the bathroom and resume almost where i was. It also removes all the stress about this kind of interruption, so more relaxation for me. Also emptying your bowels or bladder can be a good feeling in itself...
