Actually they shoud be smell proof right? I mean if a virus cannot get though then smell also should not get through right?

What freaks me out a bit though is that I noticed that one of the prostate massagers which I use (always with condom) smells
really strange and it's only the top part with the silicone on it. I cannot say what this smell is but it reminds me a bit of ass
so I thought is it possible that the smell gets through the condom? Or is this impossible?

I find that the silicone eupho does have a odor right out of the box. It doesn't go away with cleaning with soap and water and a alcohol spray. I don't use a condom so sometimes the smell IS bad and DOES need more cleaning. I think microorganisms and other contaminants like feces won't pass through the condom. Odors might pass through though I don't know.Maybe put it through an empty dishwasher if it bothers you about contaminants but the smell is from the silicone itself as I unerstand it and won't go away unless the silicone is removed.?

Hi, I have the same issue with the Peridise!
It does not have anything to do with the material. The head of the peridise smells bad
but the handle does not! This proves that it has nothing to do with the material but that
obviously the "ass smell" gets THROUGH the condom! How is this possible?
I mean if the smell gets through then this means that molecules can get through then what
if this means that STDs and bacteria also get through? If it stinks then how can it be clean
at the same time?

Condoms (sheep skin) can still let microbes through. The membrane can stave off sperm because they wont fit through the holes but other things (smaller) can still get through. Even on the label it says it can protect from HIV or STDs or pregnancy but it isn't 100%.

So yes it will still smell.

My helix syn smelt after the first use I had to wash it several times before it smelt ok. Since then I've changed lube and it come out smelling "almost" as good as it went in and after a single wash it has no I'll odor at all!

I prelubing by injecting coconut oil and then coat the helix syn with petroleum jelly with Shea butter, wall greens sells an off brand vasaline that has Shea butter in it already it smells good and has worked for me!
