Anyone had anal toy stucked?

Hello,

I was using prostate massager (similar to Aneros) for the first time and it didn't end up well.

After 30 mins of use I was trying to remove the massager from my bottom but discovered that water-based lube had evaporated from the device. I kind of panicked and pulled it out. There was no pain or blood during or right after removal. Pain started in few hours and finally I had to visit ER when pain turned out unbearable.

Since this happened 4 weeks ago I've had terrible almost constant burning pain on my anus and buttocks area. There's also random sharp pain in perineum, scrotum and penis. I went to see a doctor and there was small scratches inside my rectum and really painful prostate. Doctor said scratches would heal by itself and I've probably irritated my prostate. I have also developed need to urinate frequently (over 30 times per day).

Wonder if there's anyone who has experienced the same ordeal as I'm now. I would appreciate any insight. I can't believe I'm the only person alive who forgot to add lube to anal toy while using it.

@Firefly First off, I'm glad that your "ordeal" is somewhat behind you. It sounds like you are in "healing mode". I think your body will eventually take care of itself. In the meantime, I hate to "preach" but all guys doing anal stim will tell you that lubrication is paramount! Also, I would suggest that you invest in some genuine Aneros massagers and discard all the others. They are custom-designed for our male anatomy. Best of luck to you! It sounds like it may take a while for you to recover.

Goldenboy,

Thank you for encouraging and supportive response. Hope someone could share a "recovery story" of similar experience. You're absolutely right that lubrication is the foremost priority. I was totally surprised that the lube I used wore off in just half an hour. In retrospect, I should have take it off earlier just to replenish the lube. Lesson learned I guess.

Sorry to hear of your ordeal, @Firefly. Hopefully you will make a complete and quick recovery.

In my view, I'd rather spoil the bedsheets with lube than let my ass get dry with no lube 🙂 Make sure you use tons of lube!

You could maybe experiement a bit with different lubes. Maybe some sort of oil based lube on the toy and then water based on top? That way when the water lube dries out there should be at least a layer of oily lube.

I use a towel to not spoil the sheets.

I use non-water based lube like cocoa butter or vaseline. To prevent it from irritating my bowels I only lay on my back or sides, never on my stomach. The cocoa butter especially is very good for prolonged use, and will last many hours. And it's excellent for making the aneros able to move freely inside of me, which is essential for an O-full experience 🙂

How long you can keep Aneros inserted if you're using water based lube? I don't think that less than 30 minutes is excessively long time but obviously it was in my case. I wasn't even moving the damn thing while it was inserted but it sure felt dry after removal. Can't stop kicking myself to let this happen...

Doctor wants me to try gabapentine for nerve pain (burning type) in my anus and buttocks. Not fun at all.

What kind of knockoff did you use? I figure the shape must be a factor since I remember having 3-hour sessions with only KY jelly back in the day without problems. Now I use only a thin coat of Vaseline.

Oh, and do check it for ridges and seams from molding. A genuine Aneros can be counted on to be absolutely seamless.

Pareidolia,

It was this one. Offered as a free gift for new customers. In closer look I found one very shallow seam on the narrow end. If it's free you can't expect good quality.

I was using one of Swedish's top seller (RFSU) lube, no cheap stuff. It came to my mind, maybe it wasn't the lube. I remember that my sphincter muscles were still contracted when I started to remove it.

@Firefly - I had a somewhat similar experience with using a large Aneros (Vice) and applying too much pressure to my prostate. Scared me when it happened, and embarrassing to go to the doc, but there was no rupture and just some swelling from the vigorous session, which dissipated in a couple of days. No bleeding in my case either, but it hurt. I learned several lessons: #1 - Empty out before a session. #2: Use plenty of lube. I've found that a binary oil / water is best for me. I inject the water based lube inside near the prostate, and coat the Aneros with coconut oil. Better to start with too much and back off gradually. #3: don't force anything, and don't use anything else to add increased "leverage". #4 - keep sessions short to start - 15 minutes or so. #5: check movement frequently - you should be able to move the Aneros with internal muscles other than your sphincter. If movement isn't easy, remove delicately and add lube. #6: Don't force withdrawl - at least in my case, my body seems reluctant to let go at the end of a session. Work it from the inside as through you're working up a bowel movement. Exit should be more of a catch than a pull. The handle on most Aneros devices is good for holding on when it exits.

mastadon1@yahoo.com - Thank you for sharing and you got solid points there. I'm sure you understand well what I'm going through. Glad to hear that you didn't hurt yourself badly and "survived" to learn from your mistake.

Going to see my urologist again today. Still have annoying burning sensation on my anus and inner buttocks.

Hello guys,

After 7 weeks I'm still in constant, terrible burning pain inside my anus or tissues around it and need to take maximum amount of paracetamol w codeine just to cope in normal life.

My urologist did a cystoscopy for me and all was normal except when the scope was in the urethra and entered my prostate it felt like red glowing, hot steel rod being pushed to my stomach. My urologist said that my reaction "confirmed" his diagnosis which was chronic non bacterial prostatitis. Then he said there was nothing more he could do for me and threw me out from his office. Peeing day after procedure was a lot of fun.

I've seen a good pelvic physiotherapist and she has localized pain to left side of levator ani muscle (surrounding anus). She thinks the muscle is in spasm caused by forced evacuation of my prostate massager. After few visits I've not seen signs of improvement, but she is optimistic that she's able to help me. Other treatment options include biofeedback and electrogalvanic stimulation.

I'm devastated. I don't wish this horrible faith to anyone. Please be careful.

Saw a proctologist today or guess he was a colorectal surgeon.

He didn't even bothered to peek inside. He performed me a basic DRE and told me that my condition is probably due to a nerve damage and I definitely don't have a anal fissure (ok that's good news I don't have AF) Also said he couldn't do anything else for me and recommended I continue seeing a physiotherapist.

So, you had some type of pre-existing nerve damage and the Aneros aggravated it, basically making it "flare-up?"

Did he mention what may have caused the nerve damage?

I did not have any pre-existing nerve damage or any other issues on my rectum area. All my symptoms started two months ago after forcing the device similar to Aneros out from my bottom. Lube was dried out and I was a idiot and pulled it out dry instead of going to ER. But there was absolutely no pain while I pulled it out. And it was not authentic Aneros I was using. Surgeon was vague on his statement but said the the nerve damage was caused by my action.
