When I do Mindgasm sessions or other exercises  I do NOT use any devices, Aneros or otherwise.  Completely A-Less.

When doing Aneros sessions, I do NOT do any strong repetitive flexes or contractions.  Perhaps small light pulses and then do nothing as I enjoy whatever pleasures waves or spasms occur.  Then wait for other build up.  then maybe another bounce or two.  Mix in some nipple diddling and other erogenous zone gentle touches (penis NOT).  Many times my Pleasure Waves follow up to 15-30 seconds after these small flexes or touches.  Waiting, breathing and relaxing brings my best results.

Your welcome. 

The re-wiring of prostate/brain connection does not happen overnight.  Even with your background, and early results. I think you will find over time new sensations, events, and increased bliss as you softly go forth.  Maybe keep a log/blog and then look back after a year or three.  I think you will be amazed at the growth.  I know I am still growing, slowly but surely.

 

Enjoy every twitch and pulse and flame and ??? as your body rewards  you.

All these tips and threads and guides...it does get a lot in your head to try to manage.  I need a tutor and a lesson plan.;)

@hankey01  I am a do nothing type, Ias I understand it once things start going on there own you don't contract at all as your body is doing that on its own. You can return to your anchor as feelings wane. This may not be good advice, I don't have to physically flex, I can flex it in my mind, that I may be a do nothing thing though but don't quoite me on that. Ireally think you should try it for a while, dont worry that you don't feel something immediatly. Try to seperate your orgasm sessions from your aneros sessions. As in determine whether this is a cum session, that means no aneros involved just busting a nut, what ever way you want. An an aneros session where your dick is not envolved except internally, should your body want to. Just seperate the 2 until your rewired. You won't always be able to do it, don't frett when you do.

@tbob Sound advice for sure.  With anything, you need a strong foundation to build on.  I have no problem with the Aneros/jerk off sessions being separated...I just feel that doing nothing will be so boring.  I've never been one for mediation...but I suppose it's time to learn.  I feel like I do have to teach my PC to quiver..whereas it happens automatically for many.

@hankey01  It gets unboring if you give it time. But you like most, you need to take that time. You have the basics, now give it 15-20 sessions maybe more. You'll have a better idea of whats missing, and better idea of what to ask the experts,( I am not 1 of them) the more you try to disect stuff especially early on the harder it is to achieve things. I reiterate cease being Mr. Right Now, put a time limit on sessions to keep from getting bored or frustrated. Take what you get, and know that even if you didn't feel something overwhelming, the conversation btwn your mind and prostate happened and you have furthered your journey, and in time you will feel something overwhelming. Take a long break and jack off if you have to.

Go easy on yourself.  Many things one might not initially consider to be "a thing" turn out to be possible, indeed.

A fascinating aspect of the Forum are mens' courageous posts on some fairly fantastical stuff, the author sometimes scarcely believing it himself (here's looking at myself in the mirror, @helical).  And yet over time, you may find yourself having two "reads" of such a remark.  One as a newbie: "oh that's nice"/I'll read it with an air of detachment to avoid discouraging myself -or- sometimes, even incredulity.  And two, as someone who's been on the trail for awhile, seen some sights along the way, and recognizes some of these things within himself.

I understand.  Readers can skip over your thread if they prefer ; )  Write on, as long as you like, whenever you have something to say.  Writing may help you sort all kinds of things out, manage things, to say nothing of the replies you may receive.  You will end up tutoring yourself.  In a sense we all do, since we can only experience things to learn truths about our bodies, ourselves.  You'll light the way for others, too.  Where will you be in your travels in years hence(?!)

Thank you all again for the replied.  Its truly amazing to me the very personal things we so openly discuss.   I'm going to stop reaching for the top of the ladder and slowly learn and experience the basics. 

Thank you again for every single comment. I read and appreciate every word.    I do kind of wish I could tuck this thread in a not so obvious place .. feel bad I'm hogging the top of the General discussion area, but as @helical said... People can just skip it.

 

I'm going to learn PC shaking. That's my goal for now.

Wow that's interesting.  I tried that first thing this morning as a quick test and did feel some tingles.  Does this work for you guys?

 

Last night I tried the Mindgasm lesson 2 without my Aneros.  I did manage to get some PC contractions but very inconsistant.  It seems I have to clench my whole pelvic floor very hard to hold it long enough..which is really difficult..but eventually I feel some twitching.  I wasn't able to find that sweet spot and hold it.  The manual squeezing felt nice and a bit tingly.

After that I put int he Aneros and just felt the sensations for about 5 minutes.  Nice feelings but absolutely no hint of PC contractions.  I played around with squeezing my Pc muscle for about 30 more minutes but didn't achieve anything.  Not a single involuntary contraction unless I really squeezed the whole floor.  I feel like those involuntaries are eluding me.  I tried very light, very hard, fast, slow..long holds..no contractions. 

Positive spin..I WAS able to achieve my first involuntary PC contractions.  That's new to me.  It just tool a lot of hard squeezing and holding which I find difficult.  Stopping my pee flow..or twitching my dick is very easy..but isolating and holding for a long time seems tough.

After that I carried on with lots of contractions and shaking.. my stomach muscles were getting sore.  Felt good and every time it would kind of ease off I can take a deep breath and by the end of an exhale a lot of times it would start again on its own. If not just a little twitch or two with my PC muscle to start things off. It was pretty good and at times it seems like the aneros was trying to fuck me too hard. Piledrive... Shakes shakes. Piledrive shakes shakes. I wasn't really in control although I can definitely stop anytime if I wanted to. It was feeling very good and I went about 30 minutes like that. I don't know that I could ever go over the edge to orgasm wet or dry but it definitely felt good. Definitely a step forward!!

I'm not sure how long I could have gone or if it would have ended in something amazing but I thought I heard my boyfriend and his roommate get home so I wrapped it up.    I'm pretty happy that was fairly successful. I think spending the last couple of days focusing on my PC muscle and imagining p waves without touching anything may have helped me tune things in a bit. Or maybe I just got a little lucky tonight I'm not sure. 🙂

I position myself as though my wife is under me but my dick isn't in contact with anything (drop cloth under to catch the resulting explosion). Perhaps more accurately, I am in doggie position but knees well apart and thrusting.

Quick update ...not much new but I have decided to start the Mindgasm No Nut November lessons.  Should be a good opportunity for me to tune things in.  One member mentioned earlier in this thread that really helped him on his journey. 

 

My last couple of sessions start with a Mindgasm lesson to get me warmed up..then some Aneros play.  Las night I did that and it was fun and felt really nice.  After about an hour I just got tired and fell asleep but it was pleasurable..even if I'm not getting any Super O's yet.  I am starting to understand a bit better and appreciate the advice.  Just enjoy..don't rush or expect.  I can still enjoy every sensation and moment. The mindgasm seems to help me home in on the feelings.  I am enjoying them for what they are.  At times I am able to get some shivers and shakes without the Aneros so I'm learning a bit on how to enjoy the sensations.  🙂

I have a quick question.  I don't want to keep boring the forums but I can't find my answers online or searnign here (or reddit).

 

I have been using my Aneros and listening to the first couple of mindgasm lessons...and they are going fairly well..and I can get "involuntaries" if I trigger them usually.  I think I may be doing it wrong.  The involuntariness don't always feel good..just shaking.  I think my problem might be that I am flexing and holding my stomach muscles with my PC muscles..so the involntaries are coming from my lower abdominals?  This makes it impossible to lay back and enjoy...as I am convulsing from my core.

I am trying to relearn my PC flexes...I'm a bit confused.  I feel like there are a few ways I can do this. 

#1:   Pull my balls in towards the base of my dick.   I could hold this fairly easily and imagine a range form 0 to 100%

#2:   Muscles that seem to squeeze from either side of my dick inwards.  I can also hold this fairly well and imagine a range of 0 to 100%..but if I get to 100% I am bearing down hard and my stomach is clenching too.

#3:  Pull from right above my dick inwards and down?  This is a bit trickier to isolate and I can only do short holds.  If I try to hold it it just seems to vanish.  I have trouble imagiing a range of 0 to 100.  It's more like 0-10% and I can't really hold it unless I and really squeezing my abdominals.

 

I think I may have gone the wrong direction and taught my prostate pleasure to engage my abdominals to shake to get that twitching feeling at my PC/pelvis.  I would love for the twitching to be AT the base of my dick so I could enjoy..not my whole core shaking.

You’re trying to create invols via force. This is possible,but unnecessary.

Anchored tension does the same thing and has much more mileage in it. Simply explained,you could lift light weight and hold it with outstretched arms. After a time the muscles will reach fatigue and reach failure,even though they’ve not lifted anywhere near their max.

Pull the pc and Sphincter on a little,not too much but play with what works for you. Hold this low level base contraction all the time. Flex your muscles from this point and don’t release them below the tension point. Tension and flex need only be delicate to leave you free to relax and arouse.

Involuntaries from exhaustion is a good way to get a glimpse at what invols are, as a beginner. Later on, it does not make as much sense, because as your PC muscles get stronger you would have to flex harder and longer to exhaust them, basically, you would become worse at getting invols as you progressed. It's not as simple as that, but it should make sense anyway. 

From my experience with Mindgasm last year, it does not really matter what you are flexing exactly, as long as you identify 2 and later, 3 different muscles or "things" to flex that are located between your butthole and the tip of your dick.  There are some twists along the way within the Mindgasm lessons that will turn things 180 degrees, so just believe in the system and don't overthink things. The strength of such a step-by-step method is that you don't have to make your own decisions and you also do not have to understand exactly why it works. 

Of course, this is also one of the pitfalls, if you already have a different way to see things and start to disagree with what you are told to do, or you think you already know a better method, then it won't work as good...

@hankey01 No offence man but your still kinda all over the place. Choose 1 for awhile. If your gonna go with Mindgasm, go with mindgasm. If its anchored tension, do that. I'll have you know I went through all kinds of crazy stuff for almost a year, without feeling much prostate pleasure  in any of it. Your scrambling for something thats just not there yet. You must give each method a fair chance. I think I was maybe 6-9 months before I settled on do nothing. I have to admit I was a little all over the place at first. Till I methodically figured out what works for me, and that is always evolving. I started involuntary bucking my 3rd or forth session, know P pleasure associated with it. I lifted my legs of the bed 90degrees bent knees at 90 and my legs started moving as if I was riding a bike and know P pleasure. I raised my legs straight up from my hips, and it felt like some one was grabbing my ankles and lifting me up 1 at a time, in a very exotic way, but know P pleasure. The truth is I was getting P pleasure I just didn't recognize it. I wish I could go back there now boy. The point is it could be awhile before your brain and your prostate speaks in a language you understand as pleasure, even longer if your scrambling. This is what I have learned endlessly reading this forum, which I cannot recomend strongly enough. Wanna shorten your journey, heed my words.

Oh, I see you’re a Mindgasm-er too.  In some lessons, they mention “a toy”.  Perhaps stick mostly to one “school”.  In the end, the approaches complement each other.  But it is not necessary to rush to find that conclusion for yourself.  Like above I’m trying to encourage you to not throw the kitchen sink at your body.  Even if you take a slow and steady approach, these can be some amazing times of observation for you.

@hankey01 I suppose a moderate approach would be to use "a toy" where Mindgasm suggests the option.  Good luck : )

@helical @Tbob thank you again for the candid feedback!   All the advice is a lot to absorb so I'm sorry if it seems like I'm not listening.  Its been a journey I need to review. 

Do you think it's reasonable to use mindgasm as a warmup/ relaxation setup then use Aneros for a session?  Even if it's 'do nothing' for 30 minutes?  I tried it last night and I was getting some slight sensations from doing nothing. Eventually I was falling asleep so instead of giving up I explored positions and squeezes. Again... What felt best was rhythmic squeezes and I again felt close to TO. 

I realize I should have just stopped after 30 minutes of nothing.  I did get some pleasure from it.

You do seem a little all over the place,@tbob is spot on with that. I think some siege mentality and impatience  have set it,you seem to be chasing the dragon after a quick start out of the blocks. 
This is actually normal,as it took the great Brian Mayfield 9 long months to get from super o 1 to super o 2 if memory serves.

You’re problem is,you want the silver bullet,a simple step by step instruction manual,but it doesn’t often work like that.

All of the posts and advice here plus mindgasm and Allie are pieces of a puzzle that each guy must fit together himself. Each piece must be played with,tweaked and experimented on and shaped into what works for you. Everyone shares their tips in the hope it causes a small piece to click into place for you.

Your long hard flex’s to get invols imo are creating stress which is counter productive to relaxation,so of course,i suggested backing them off a bit. More often than not,less is better in this game.

Mindgasm won’t guarantee you anything if your head isn’t in the right place,plenty use it and still aren’t where they want to be. Same goes for weed,you use it and still aren’t where you want to be. You’re gonna have to drop the chasing and expectations which is hard after you had a taste of the promised land.

Allie’s job is more than just talking you through flexes. She’s also hypnotic,trying to steer your mind away from the questions,self doubt and other damaging mindsets,with her haunting voice and camp fire. Guys round here have been into hypno stuff over the 20 years the forum has been going. Use her if you can tolerate her and her music. She got old for me real quick,and I don’t respond well to music. MG is neatly packaged,with some go faster strips and white wall tyres,but at the end of the day,there isn’t anything on it that isn’t on here. I don’t think it speeds anything up. Breakthroughs come when we’re ready. 

Separating muscles in the PF takes time and practice. I see you visualise  ‘flex in the air’. Nice. I suck air through my japs eye and allie asks you to squeeze the your glans.  It’s all the same thing.  Different perspectives. Keep reading and learn how to incorporate things without thinking too much. Just explore rather than trying to reach various milestones. You’ve already learned a lot,keep it going. Take a couple of days break and go back to it,don’t let it consume you.

I've known that for weeks..but I desperately want some reward/pleasure (silver bullet).   And I know..you are all telling me the same thing. Don't force it..don't chase it.  Let it find me.  The Aneros instructions basically say..put it in..and the toy will start doing it's job.  I wish it was that easy!  I came very close 2 times this week to a HFO ..but I was forcing it and basically screwing myself with the toy.  I feel like once I have my first HFO..no matter how..I will believe! 

So far I am enjoying Mindgasm.  It makes me feel like I'm not alone in my journey and gives me focus.  Also masks external noises that would distract.  Others I found online use the womans voice too much to "seduce" and talk dirty which totally ruins it for me.  I am following the No Nut lessons and refraining from masturbation.  I am having trouble not looking at Porn though.  Hard to live like a monk!

Again..thank you all for the help and support.  Honestly I just feel like I'm getting nowhere and need some moral support.  I am going to reread every comment here now that I have a "bit" of experience.

If you know what needs to be done then DO IT and stop trying to convince yourself there is some magic formula that will get you back to what you've already experienced. You are only fooling yourself with self delusions.
