@Timelesspa Nice! Hope you enjoy it 🙂 Any troubles with delivery?
If I read the online thing for DHL, it seems mine's already in the UK (shipped from Aneros only yesterday). Pretty good compared to UPS on another site's delivery.
Also my import duty was only £19 - not sure why the differene - I assume you bought two Tridents instead of one?
Yes, the mgx and the helix which I'm about to try.
My "Acupressure Massage Device" (LOL) has arrived!
Juuust managed to intercept the delivery guy on my way to lunch.
Box is smaller than the previous I've got.
Same shape as Helix Syn, and material as Peridise.
Tabs are definitely more flexible than MGX, but definitely more stiffer than the Helix Syn.
Hoping to try tonight.
busdrvr I am also interested like @bandit76 if learning how you polish the new Trident. I also love the smoother finish like the Progasm. I even spray painted my Helix to get a smoother finish but was not happy with it and removed it years ago. Please reply.
I have polished all my Aneros devices. I tried the factory finish, but found my device harder to insert and had less movement. The polished finish also makes clean up easier.
I wet sand using 600 grit sandpaper, then a 2000. I suppose you could use a 1000 or 1500 in between if you wanted.
I then polish on a buffing wheel with 2 different rubbing compounds used for paint. The compound polishes the surface to a high gloss finish (similar to the Black Ice finish, but white of course). I thoroughly clean the surface after using the rubbing compound with a strong de-greaser (Purple Power/Greased Lightning), then rubbing alcohol and soap/water. You have to be careful using the buffing wheel on plastic b/c it will melt the plastic if too much pressure is used. Light pressure is all that is needed.
You can do a Google search for plastic polishing for other ideas or suggestions. Please feel free to post any suggestions or improvements you find to my above posted polishing formula.
