Hey everyone, another question of mine. If you haven't figured it out from my other posts, I am a worry wart :).

I was doing some reading that prostate massage can be dangerous by spreading an infection or cancer we might have. Now to my knowledge I don't have anything wrong with my prostate. So I guess my risks are low. Are there any other things to worry about?

Want are your opinions on the matter?

That may be true but the Aneros massages very mildly - unlike a massage given by a urologist. It is much less likely IMO to cause such a reaction. It could do that slowly, over time, but in the case of benign prostatitis that would probably be healthy. In the case of cancer, of course it wouldn't. Neither would it be a good suggestion to be on a testosterone supplement in that case either as it is likened to throwing gas on a fire. Make sure you get checked out by a medical professional before doing any prostate massage (Aneros based) or not. Have your PSA level checked and a DRE (digital rectal exam) done to make sure you don't appear to be at risk. If you do appear to be a risk - according to your Dr based on what he has found then I would proceed very cautiously with Aneros or prostate masssage use - if at all. You should also probably consult your Dr about it in that case as well just to be safe. This is just my opinion and I am not a medical professional nor do I represent the interests or opinions of HIH and the Aneros product.
