So this Muze this looks like it's just the vibe used in the Vice. I got a Vice recently so I have the updated vibe bullet.

I'm confused, is this bullet meant to be used by itself as well as the vice? The description doesn't really say.

Come on, HIH...where's another stainless steel or silicone model?

What about those of us that didn't get the new model vibe? Shouldn't there be some type of trade in or trade up program in place? Spending $120 on an additional vibrator for the vice is unfair. I feel that the vibe that came with my Vice is SUPER STRONG and distracting. I have to find old batteries to use and sometimes it will just run out of juice in the middle of an awesome session. I don't see why they can't take our old vibes back to remanufacture. They can be easily sterilized and disassembled. I feel so ripped off...arrggh.

I sympathize, pnoman. I think you have a right to be upset.

I placed the following in the "Review" thread at the top of the page.

My sole beef with the original Vice was that the vibe was far too strong for me.

So far I have only really been able to use the Vice sans vibrator!

Does anyone know if previous purchasers of the Vice can upgrade to the new version of the vibe without having to buy the whole box and dice?

Well - Thanks to HIH for answering my prayer BUT why is it so expensive?

From the shop page it seems one might as well actually buy the whole box and dice, it only costs 20 bucks more! I agree strongly with pnoman, I wasn't able to discover that the original version of the vibe was no good for me until I had bought it (buyer beware?) I still think it is a bit "off" to make us buy an entire new "Vice" less $20 to solve the problem!

Indeed, it seems my problem can only be fixed if I shell out another $120. (BTW, does this assume the 25% Christmas discount or is the situation actually worse than I thought?

So is the Muze strictly to be used as a new vibrator for the Vice or does it have another purpose?

I really love the Vice, but have the same issues with it being too intense as other users so I actually went out and bought another vibrating prostate massager that is an inferior design, but the vibrator is slightly better and the results are phenomenal. Now that the Vice has a top notch vibrator, I can't wait to test the results. Honestly, this thing would probably be worth $300 to me, the difference between my Super O's with a vibrating massager and without are astronomical. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

This is a ripoff...
I expected them to release a new individual vibrator to replace the Vice one since so many people seems to complain about the strength (+1 here) but 120$... really..?
That means a total investment of 260$ for something worth 140 that should have worked right from the beginning.

So I'm a bit confused - does the Vice come with the new Muze vibe or no?
Is the Muze meant to be used with just the Vice or does it somehow work with other units?

I guess I just don't get what the product is for, if not to be used with the Vice.

mover,

I can see how you could become confused.

If you go to the 'Shop" page of this site and look for "Vice", you will find a number of illustrations of this model. Most of them show the bullet as the Mark 2 version which we would have preferred in the first place! The Mark 2 version is indeed the "Muze" so it seems that the Vice is now shipped with the Muze as part of the package.

Problem is that the blown-up picture at the bottom of this page shows the Vice with the Mark 1 version that most people (including me) found to act like a sledgehammer. I assume and hope that the illustration at the bottom of the page, showing the Vice in its box with the Mark 1 bullet is incorrect. Seems to me that the marketing people at Aneros need to watch the accuracy of their promotional material more closely.

So here's a quick question - I purchased a Vice from ebay. Is there any way to tell if the vibrator unit is the new Muze?I asked the seller about it and they said that they had confirmed with the manufacturer that it is the updated vibrator unit, but I can't help feeling like it's a bit too strong for me to handle.

Has it six or nine settings? If it's six, you've got the older model.

It does have nine, thanks twlltin. A few private PMs sorted me out - it's a great product!
