Aneros mod pics

Thanks for the pictures, my MGX looks just like that. I did leave a bit of a "nub" on it which helps when taking it out.

Mod pics posted for info and to avoid confusion but suggest you don't leap in with a new unit until you know why you're really doing the mod.

This one is the hot glue gun mod for the Helix as mentioned in other threads.

Please feel free to rip or share any info here for the good of all but of course take care with your Aneros and your body.

Anyone have a pic of the sanded down to the shaft variation please send it along! Anything else that's different too.

Thanks for posting it for me... The way I have it in the picture has
been my favorite after much experimentation. I have had the hot glue
extension longer, and higher, but the way it is pictured seems to be a
good length and angle for me. If you are curious the hot glue extends
about 5/8 inch or 1.5 cm.

Thanks for the photos... I just started using the Helix, and almost immediately came to the conclusion that the curly handle should be removed. Only question is, has anyone regretted this mod afterwards?

If I were to get a new one, the first thing I would do is remove the handle. All is does it get in the way. With it out, you can sit in any position with it. To me, it serves no useful function.

i agree! i haven't regertted it in any way, removing form the MGX

I do not have any regrets neither. One avantage to it is that you can not really manipulate the aneros thus hurting yourself. After all it is suppose to be a hand free device.

It's hard to know where to begin to respond to the tacky ADVERTISEMENTS which you've so kindly posted in just about every thread in this forum.

DFW - Msy I ask why you don't like the Maximus. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and reasons.

Brnistr - Whoops, returning the Maximus to Aneros will NOT get you a 100% refund, only $48. Check out their guarantee for the Next-Gen Line. SOOooo I can understand why DFW is trying to sell his.

I stand corrected, up until last year it was a 100% and forgive me if my last post seemed harsh, but the notion of someone HAWKING his USED product in so many threads is frankly way over the top. This approach just seems terribly out of place here.

Furthermore, I too have questions about someone bailing after only two weeks. If he has done ANY reading of this forum whatsoever (before or after purchasing), he knows that most people take longer than two weeks to produce results. If he really is in earnest, he should give it more time, enlist some help from other forum members or at last resort contact the manufacturer and see if they'd be willing to make an exchange for another model that might work better for him.

One last point, where else can one buy a sexual aid/toy and return it for ANY refund, let alone SEVENTY-ONE PERCENT of the purchase price! My sense is that at some point, if one has given it a fair shot (which he hasn't), you chalk up the $19.00 + S & H to experience and move on.
