Hi Guys,

Member ‘newbie2009’s post in the Penis, NOT! thread made an interesting comment when he noted - “Thanks to for the *BUMP* on that one. Otherwise I would have missed it.” This got me to thinking about some of the very good individual posts that exist within this Forum (77 pages, 3400+ threads, 23,000+ individual posts and counting) that often get "missed", especially by newbies. Numerous members have suggested that Penis, NOT! perhaps be made a Sticky or included in the WIKI. I recognize the value of the cited posting but I am not convinced it is appropriate for inclusion in the WIKI or as a Sticky. Still, IMHO, such posts should be more readily accessible, especially to the newbie. While there is a great deal of information and interesting discussion to be gleaned from reading these past threads, it is cumbersome to ardously read through to uncover all these “Gold Nuggets” as ‘HydraulicJack’ terms them on his website.
Initially, I am proposing that members use this thread to post nominations for postings they felt were particularly helpful, clarifying, insightful or inspiring. I think ‘Cockadoodle’s Penis, NOT! post should be included as a “Gold Nugget” .
‘ArcticWolves’ recently pointed me to another nominee, ‘MartyB’s 2nd post in the desperately seeking help….. thread. I would nominate ‘Pan’s posts in The five minutes leading up to a Super-O by ‘Sky_Walker’.
There are several insightful posts contained within the Automatic tantra? thread, I know I could probably name many others after doing some searching.
I am thinking that a thread similar to 'B Mayfield's THE F-SPOT may become a repository into which these “Gold Nugget” postings could be copied. What say you fellow members? Should we try to establish such a thread?

great idea althogh I would have to wonder who gets to decide what post gets the "gold nugget" qualification.
I wish there was a way a individual member could create his own gold nugget collection. I read posts now and then that really hit home to me and wish there was a way (other than printing them out) that I could save them

Old timers and 'Wiki guiders' are probably the best to determine the method of implementation.

The 'editorial' choices may best be left in the hands of a "Senate" of individuals who either have Super-O'd or are well along their journey. Some form of Zen seems appropriate here. A mix of different spirits is needed. These guys should still be close enough to the start of their journey that they recall what resonated strongly with them and helped them reach inward and helped their soul listen their bodies.

The current crop of potential 'Senators' I see here are the mature achievers or grinders like Carolinaguy, J4, helixbill, SWW and Love_is... these are the guys who seem to have reached inward to expereince the deeper aspects of the journey. I am missing many who are either silent or don't post very often -- the all-knowing guy in the back of the limo with a shit-eating grin on his face.

You probably need a list of Golden Nuggets that resonate with those who augment with substances and those who don't or who have chosen to not mix Aneros with THC, peyote etc.

Probably exclude guys like me who are more into the fun and jolt from this and who haven't identified many road signs. I'm not sure whether the first-timer who Super-O's should be a part of this 'class' that picks the Golden Nuggets.

I have no clue or methodology to use in selecting this "Senate."

So there you got it, your basic $ !.77 plan, rolled-back just for today!

Hi rumel, 🙂

Anything that groups or categorizes important information for users of all levels is important and helpful. It's a shame that as an open non-sticky thread it may get buried over time. But it's better that we at least have a thread that groups the "gold nuggets" together.

I think this is a great idea rumel and I think everyone should be allowed to contribute. That's what makes this community so special than any others. Everyone is allowed to give their input and it should be no different for this. 😉

Just make a folder in your Internet Explorer Favorites or Firefox Bookmarks and bookmark the URL's in there. You can always rename the bookmark when you make it so you will remember the topic.

Siimple 'screen-scrape' or copy and paste into a Word document is pretty easy.

I don't really want a big list of bookmarks on my computer. What I was wishing for is something within the site software that was let you save it in a pref file
thanks for the thoughts

Love the idea for having a gold nugget post area. There are certain posts, through the years, that capture the passion and energy of re-occurring topics better than others.

Since users come and go in this forum like waves, it would be nice to have a repository for past fantastic discussions that will resonate with current and future users. I will look around and contribute some of my favorite reads from older iterations of the Aneros community …

Nomination:

Widegrin's post: < http://www.aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4257 >

containing graph and definition of levels:

< >

The level definitions, particularly the concept of "primate" and "logical" levels might be a basis for formative thought/discussion in this area.

I think a golden nugget thread is a great idea. The first post in such a thread could be updated as people nominate or find more great tidbits of knowledge. This way people wouldn't have to sift through the entire thread to find the nuggets.
