Hi guys, just for the context: for many years i enjoyed many aneros toys, but never achieved dry O. I purchased a lot of them.

Recently, I decided to try the Evi after reading a comment from a man on a purchase site. I know it's designed for women, but I can confirm it's also really really good for men (at least for my type of body). The feeling is... delicious, very comfy and present, move easily with contractions.

Nevertheless, I suspect it's not as solid then the classic line-up for men usage. The base is very thin (that's key IMO), but it seems also very weak. I do not know what is the material behind the silicon: ABS ? is it rock solid ? (it seems flexible...).

To be clear: Is it safe to use Evi as a P massager ?

Very interesting...

one of the reviews on Amazon says this (is this the comment you were talking about?):

“Aneros designs and makes p spot massagers for men........this was a one off foray into the female zone which apparently failed........ the company made A BIG MISTAKE by not marketing it to/for men........the tail was intended to reach the clitoris which apparently was a hit or miss issue and for some women the size and/or length was insufficient.......FOR MEN, HOWEVER......just turn it around so that the tail is facing the back instead of the front (ie,. the clitoris)........and the size, shape and length ARE IDEALLY SUITED to offering one of if not the best prostate massages a man will ever get just with the natural contractions it induces........a sad day for mankind when Aneros apparently failed to realize the product's extraordinary potential for the male marketplace”

I think this guy is being hard on aneros, because they have actually done a lot for mankind. But I am curious now!

You got it. You're right, i do not agree with the complete comment, it's why i didn't put it here.

But this guy is not completely wrong, there is something magic in this EVI for men, that other aneros models do not bring (I tested all, my favourite are eupho and peridise).

I do not reverse it, I use it in the way it is designed to be used, and it's damn good. No pain or discomfort at all, just pleasure. It's quite big at insersion, but then it is very soft feeling, very "erotic".

During my journey, I discovered that I'm too "contracted" around the aneros, even when completely relaxed. To get pleasurable feeling, I have to make "some room" for the device, by pushing a little bit instead of contracting. It's difficult to explain, i try to do a kind of reverse-contracting pattern (reverse kegel??). This is the feeling i got with this EVI, with less work, this is the reason why i think it is interesting for men like me, who are seeking for a very soft touch.

mirabel,

The EVI was indeed designed for women, but I tested it myself back when the product was in development. I observed several issues with the device when I used it.  First, the angle of the stem to the abutment arm was completely different for this product, (as it was created for a woman).  Consequently, the EVI didn't pivot in the way that most men were accustomed to with Aneros devices.  Second, the body was approximately 1.5 X 1.4 " making it considerably larger than any of the other men's devices. Still, for those who are into larger fare (as I am), not too daunting, at least for insertion.  On a purely anal/rectal level the EVI produced a very nice "filled" sensation that I enjoyed. But things changed when I tossed off a contraction or two.  Right off I noticed it took a minuscule level of contraction to generate very strong prostate stimulation.  As far as the quality of stimulation....there was no focus to it, it was more of a generalized kind pressure over the entire posterior surface of the gland. I do have some enlargement (not a lot), but this may have had some bearing on this.  Did I come from using it? Yes.  But the involuntary anal contractions that accompanied the orgasm made the experience somewhat uncomfortable for me.  Not to be deterred, I finished off with traditional orgasm which I found very uncomfortable

To sum it up, when used by a man, the EVI functions more like a large egg-shaped butt plug. It doesn't move so much as it provides a surface to be contracted against.  While there are some men who might enjoy the EVI, it doesn't perform up to the specifications of a traditional Aneros device. Beyond that I had real concerns that it might hurt some men. For that reason I recommended against marketing the EVI to men...a recommendation the company adopted.

Cheers

PS I had similar results with the VIVI as well.  Consequently, the VIVI too is not recommended for use by men.
