Hello, I have read a small about this item and was wondering what advice there is for men like myself who has a radical prostatectomy,, would this aneros be helpful in obtaining an errecton, I already know that anal stimulation was enjoyable before surgery, I am straight but enjoy playing with wife.
@waterman, First let me say I am sorry to hear about your prostatectomy, I can empathize with the emotional upheaval this traumatic loss can inflict as I am a prostate cancer survivor myself (see my blog entries regarding external beam radiation therapy). Obviously this forum is almost entirely about men with prostates still intact but there have been some threads related to discussion about use after prostatectomy, see

Unfortunately, the truth is the likelihood of Aneros use restoring your erectile abilities is rather low. Even if nerve sparing surgery was utilized in your prostatectomy the statistics are not favorable in that respect. However, there is some good news, the fact you enjoyed anal stimulation prior to your surgery means that you are already mentally prepared to experience sexual/sensual orgasms through that mode. In this respect an Aneros massager may well be an effective tool to compliment your love making skills with your wife. Traditional penetrative sex may no longer be available to you but emotionally richer, more intimate, alternative practices can more than compensate if you are willing to make the leap in your psyche.

Have you considered trying the Peridise models? They were developed to massage hemorrhoids targeting the anus. They can induce anal orgasm rather than prostate.
